Summary: When Sam discovered that Dean did in fact made a deal with the crossroad demon, he decided to start fighting for his older brother.  Even after being warned that if Dean back out of deal, Sam would die, the mission continues for only one reason - Sam had made a very important vow, which is to protect Dean at all costs.  But would that include losing his own life?
