About time I updated this again....

I am happily late 40-something, and work in accounts - I'm happy playing with numbers. They don't lie.... 

It has always been my dream to write - I remember being praised for a story in English class in Grade 4. I was about 9 or 10 years old.

But then real life got in the way - job, marriage, and all the rest, and writing became something I did occasionally, and not very seriously.

And then, along came Supernatural. And the Supernatural.tv website, and the fanfic forums. And as I browsed, I wondered...could I really have a crack at this? So I did, and I am loving it.

Some people paint, some people do quilting or patchwork, others knit - I write. Re-discovering a passion that I had buried for just over 20 years has been fun, scary, and rewarding. And the reviews make it all worthwhile. Keep them coming - they are precious gold.

I'm pretty consistent about a few things - if I start a story I will finish it, I don't like to have more than one story going at a time, and I tend to stick to three writing rules:

No Wincest
No Deathfics
I love to play with your minds

Finally, a huge thank you to all who have supported me over the past four and a bit years. Winning The Kripke award three times running means more to me than you could ever know, and thanks just doesn't even begin to describe the feeling I have in my heart.

And to all whose stories I have enjoyed, and whose talent has inspired me to push beyond my comfort zone and aim high, bless you and thank you for sharing your gifts and your stories. I continue to be amazed and humbly gratified by the quality and diversity of tales on this site.

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering - the first flag in the banner below is the official state flag for my home state of Queensland, the middle one is of course the Australian flag, and the third is the Eureka Stockade flag, because I'm a bit of a rebel at times.
