 Date: 07/11/11 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11 Hey Jules Just read this for the 3rd (or is it the 4th time?) It is has been awhile since the last time I read this and the ending still got me LOL. You always manage to pull me into the boys lives and I lose myself in the story. Thanks!!! On now to the sequel. I should probably wait to start it until tomorrow night as I have to get up early in the morning but I know I won't. Guess tomorrow will be a long day. Author's Response: Hi, Marcia, Oh, lol - third or fourth time? And then straight onto In Dreams? That's a marathon and a half. I'm really glad that you enjoy the story so much, though, that you keep wanting to come back to it. It was interesting, but scary, to write, because the story just kept growing and growing as I found more stuff about the AU Winchesters to put in there. I had a lot of background to fill in, which is something I didn't realise when I first came up with the idea for the storyline. Then when I got to the last chapter and the big reveal, I worried that it wouldn't be believable due to the length of time for the dream. But I was committed to that ending, and to change it would have meant a major rewrite...if that was even possible at that stage. Date: 22/04/11 Title: Chapter 18: Epilogue Once again you have blown me away with one of your stories! I read this, along with Class Dismissed some time ago and just read them both again today. It was just as wonderful the second time around, thanks sharing this great adventure with us! Author's Response: Thanks, Marcia, Wow, these were a long read, especially together - lol. You are right - you do read fast! I had fun with In Dreams, but it was also a bit of a complicated chess game as well, with double the Winchesters and making sure I kept them straight in my head. Because while they were essentially the same, there were small differences, the main one being that au-Sam was not as strong emotionally as 'our' Sam, even though his abilities far exceeded Sam's. And of course, with a little brother so vulnerable, his big brother was more protective and allowed more 'touchy-feely crap' than the Dean in this reality. But still, two Deans, two Sams....I must admit I was in heaven. And then of course it was fun blowing them all up! ROFL! Thanks so much for your wonderful review. Date: 22/04/11 Title: Chapter 3: Epilogue Another great story! I really liked how you portrayed Sams hunting skills and showed that he was a Hunter in his own rite and not just Dean's shadow. Thank you, Marcia, As I said to Terry, I think people sometimes tend to underestimate Sam's skills because he does live in Dean's shadow a bit. And possibly because he was usually the one being rescued in season one at least. But in Sam's defence, he was a little rusty back then - lol. I think I wanted to showcase both brothers in this story - Dean's skill as a tracker and Sam's ingenuity in a tough spot. And it's the combined skills of both brothers that makes them such an awesome team. So glad you liked this so much. Jules Summary:

Date: 30/03/11 Title: Chapter 18: Epilogue Part 2 Thank you for a wonderful story. All your hard work paid off!!!! You guys are on my "favorite author" list forever. Thank you so much, Marcia, It always thrills Petra and myself when we get a new reader to this story. Hell, it thrills us when we get an old reader! LOL! I suppose you've read our authors' notes by now and know what went into writing this - this was truly a labour of love (of epic proportions). At times it felt like the story had completely taken over our lives - it consumed almost every waking moment and then some! Emails, phone calls, meetings over coffee and Thai takeaway - and lots of chocolate.... But we wanted to get a few things out in the open, as it were, and one of those things was Sam's innermost thoughts and the reasoning behind why he made his choices during Season 4. At least, up till 4.14 Sex And Violence, which was where we branched off from canon and into speculation. We also wanted to tell things from both boys' perspectives. Petra and I have talked about a possible sequel - and I was toying with the idea of jumping about a year ahead of where Here At ended, and something bringing the boys back to Havre. But it's still very much on the drawing board (that is, it's still in my head...) so it won't be any time in the immediate future, sad to say. But in our universe, and our minds, I can reveal that the holiday was VERY successful as far as the blossoming relationship between Sam and Grace is concerned. Date: 14/05/11 Title: Chapter 6: Epilogue Okay, I just read this story (again) and realized that I never reviewed. As others have already stated I like your ending alot better than the show. I did not like it when they sent Dean to Hell and then they sent Sam to Hell too!!!! Great story!!!!! I am spending way to much time on this site reading about the boys while waiting for the season 6 finale. Keeping my fingers crossed that they do the boys justice, then we will have to wait for season 7. I am in withdrawals already. Thanks again for sharing your awesome talent with us. Thanks, Marcia, I was a bit worried about this one, especially the God element, and I did tell Jane that I had a bit of a panic over how to write Him, so I skimmed that bit with the barest of descriptions, because seriously....*flaps hands*...how am I supposed to do God justice? And I was so shocked by both the S3 and S5 epilogues - especially the S5 one. I remember after watching it, I went to bed and stared at the wall for well over an hour, trying to process it all. I just couldn't wrap my mind around that horrible ending for Sam. If they hadn't signed up for another season, I'm not sure if I'd have been able to watch my DVD's again, knowing what Sammy's fate was to be. So I'm really glad you enjoyed our little collaboration, and our solution to the whole apocalypse thing. Not long now to the finale - just a few more days. I hated it that Sam chose the path he did, and everything the boys went through. Season 6 is getting better but I want the boys to get back to where they were in season 1!!!!! 6.11 Appointment in Samarra tag - Dean and Death talk further. It was unsettling being in the presence of Death, so close to a Being who could end him with a touch. Dean was simply a toy to him, an insect, and yet there was something in Death's eyes when he looked at him, something within his tone that spoke of more.
