It was nice for me as a writer, too, to go back to that simple time where their only worry was finding John, and the only thing hanging over their heads was Sam's grief over Jessica's death. It's heartbreaking to see how life and destiny has pushed them apart. But the love is still there - strained to the limit, but there. One just has to look a lot harder these days.
