Date: 12/01/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 I hate you! Na how could I hate you..you wrote this amazing story. Man I loved the twist at the end about the demon having Sam's body and Sammy being a ghost, sheesh..you sure do know how to tell em! I think the saddest part of this was just the end few lines, the familiarity (sp?) of their banter especially "bitch" "Jerk" was the real tear jerker. Absolutely amazing, breath taking. Date: 13/11/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1- Save Him Oh my gosh Schelz how the frick did I miss this....ok so at the moment I am completely speechless...everything was so amazing and unique about this story. The way you intergrated the song (I love that song btw) and the dialogue from past epi's ahhh, I think that's what made this fic so heart breaking because you were not only reading about Dean's death but also looking back on a time when Dean was alive. I like how it was kinda disorientated with no exact timeline I think that only added to Sam's hysteria and bringing in Cassie (although I never liked her) was a great idea. I enjoyed the logic behind Sam wanting to tell her, it was very emotional to finally understand that Sam was so lost without Dean he desperately needed some one to miss him too gah! Author's Response: I was of a mind to write this episode off as the worst of the season. Which made me both sad and mad because it FINALLY showed us how Sam dealt with Dean being gone after his first freak out in LR. I thought they weren't going to give us anything and then they DID and then they ****** it up with that Ruby crap. And even WORSE they ****** up Dean's response to this little tidbit of Sammy's adventures during the FMIH! But a discussion on the Supernatural threads over at the Psychfic forum (yeah, don't ask) birthed this plot bunny and I am not only at peace with the episode after writing this but I *like* it now! Like one of my fellow SPNners over there said, "As far as I'm, concerned this is now canon." Now the 'TMI' doesn't bother me at all! :D As far as I'm concerned, Dean was so shell-shocked by what he was hearing that his brain just shut down and all that came out was a lame attempt at humor. But after processing it, this scene was the result. For me and him. :D I'm *really* glad you liked the humor. I was a bit wary of putting it in because of the overall emotional setting of the scene. I didn't want it to come off as badly as Dean's attempt at a joke with the 'TMI' line. But my Beta convinced me otherwise (and, actually, threatened to take away my Christmas present LOL) if I did take it out. Now, if Sam *continues* to pursue this *shudder* thing with Ruby, it may undo all of my hard work and I may be unhappy again. But I'm really hoping it won't come to that. *firmly puts thoughts of the bra from LR out of her head* IT NEVER HAPPENED IN MY UNIVERSE. When Dean finally killed Sam...oh man I was lost for words..everything about this piece of writing is fantastic, the description and flow of writing is spot on and made for one of the best reads I've ever had - hands down - simply fantastic!!!

Such an amazing concept, and the idea of creating it into more of a tale then a story was genius I think it made it all the more heart breaking because it seemed so beyond our time. It felt like we didn't know the Winchesters and we were hearing their story for the first time through this little gem...lol am I making any sense yet? Some of the lines were just, ahhh, they pulled on my heart strings. And Sam, to save the world, to save his brother, destroyed himself.
