I think, though, that the doc would have been certain of schizophrenia with all the talk of demons -- basically a different world from our own, but completely consistent with itself! Author's Response: Thanks for that, Natalie - oh, and welcome to the site. I'm thrilled you enjoyed the ride this story took you on. Re the schizophrenia - well, the boys can talk up a convincing argument when they want to, and with Dean's solid conviction and Sam's sincerity, did Kayla have a chance? LOL. And of course, being a doctor, she'd see right through any bull, and know they were telling the truth, no matter how freaky it was. Anyway, as I said, any medical inconsistencies are entirely mine. Seriously though, I'm touched and thrilled that the story hooked you just as much the second time around as it did the first. I've had people tell me that once they start reading it, they just can't put it down until they get to the end. And I'm always amazed by that reaction. Glad you love Kayla. I've actually had a request to write her into another story, and I just might do that - have the boys come back to the institution for a hunt. It might be interesting to do.
