And better still I love that I can get into yours and figure where you're headed next. You're twisted and have a great sense of timing in your story-telling. Date: 29/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 ACTUALLY, I WAS NEVER THAT FOND OF SHAKESPEARE..........like you, Terry, I feel I can identify more with Dean's character than with any other. I was always the survivor, the tough smart-ass, wisecracking my way thru a lot of painful situations. Always the one everybody else knew they could count on. It does tend to backfire on you however at weak moments.......'cuz no one expects it or even believes you can have a few chinks in that superhero armor..........This is my third time reading rituals and the first time I've felt up to commenting.....touched a few raw nerves I guess. Date: 29/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 What a portrait..!!!....definitely Dean, in a nutshell, if that's possible.....it scares me and comforts me to know that someone else is so in tune with how he finds his motivation....loved the choice between eating and ammo....not quite certain of the 'being wrong' about his brother's love being unending......is this a hint at future happenings.......so far Dean seems to be dearly loved by Sam.....Though I think Dean's love of Sammy is more a selfless love.......... Date: 29/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 just read the other reviews.....anybody who can write like Gaelicspirit can be forgiven on the cut/paste inadequacy....up until a month ago I only knew how to use scissors/paste.......at least I've finally learned the term "icons" (more professional that saying'those cute little pictures').........Sam did a great job trying to explain Dean's real value......it was touching to hear him putting some 'stitches' in Dean's emotional being instead of his ribs,arms,legs.............. Date: 29/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 You must have had migraines at some point, or a lot of really intense hangovers !!! I've never known an author who could not only make you feel the emotional upheaval in a story but experience the physical as well.( I feel the need to keep an emesis pan & first aid kit nearby) & Kleenex lots of Kleenex..... I know they say that the series main character is Sam, but our gorgeous, dark Dean is so much more complex and driven, soooooooo worthy of hero worship. No matter what the personal cost he gets his head & muscle wrapped around the situation and gets the job done. Thanks again for putting us in the passenger seat.

Date: 28/04/07 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Are you okay? Wow.............don't ever apologize for setting up the stories the way you do.......you're awesome!!! The actual show is usually only 1/4 to 1/3 action and the rest devoted to the boys, their thinking and relationship. I bought the dvd set of Season I for when I needed a fix. I've found that if I play it softly while I read your works, I can really enjoy myself. Now if only I can find a way to keep your well-written body of work around forever as well..... I'm going to go broke on printer ink !!!!

Date: 28/04/07 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 A Daze Work Terry, you bring out the sadist in all of us.Our poor Dean !! It's not that we enjoy watching him suffer, it's just that it always seems to bring out that masochistic, STRONG side of him even more, and to enjoy how HIS Sammy ministers to him. Not being much of a wimp about major "owies" myself, I have made more than a few people ill with what I can deal with. Like Dean, I feel there's added strength of character in suffering in silence. I once drove 1200 miles with only gas/potty stops while having a kidney stone attack. Amazing how your brain can make you function.
