But the damage is already done, especially to Dean. Poor Dean and Sam - they can really only rely on themselves. Please let Dean get out of his self destructive mood. This was a great chapter. Why do I feel Dean has not just a long way to go but there might be some serious setbacks in store for him? And what's up with the mysterious guy at the place Bobby headed to? Date: 14/01/08 Title: Chapter 4: Silent Witness Thanks so much for adding another chapter to this "oneshot" :) Your description of Sam's POV was so powerful and heartwrenching. You did an incredible job. If the last chapters had chocking me up this one really did make me want to reach for the tissues. “I’m not giving up on you Sammy.” The words were so quiet and so loud at the same time. The Dean I know and depended on for so long is gone. He has been replaced by a mere shell, I can see the life drain from him, each word the red-eyed demon throws wears at him like waves on the shore. Amazing! I wish you would carry on with this... Thanks! Author's Response: Yeah...thanks to Jules (mizpah) this little thing left one-shot status a long time ago haha. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Hope you had enough tissues! I wish I would too...man...*kicks own butt* The next two weeks are going to be some really really long hours at work, but I am going to try to pick this back up.
