You have managed to capture the image of them that has formed in my head since I began watching Supernatural. They are special characters, and you treat them as such. Thanks for allowing me to share your vision of Dean and Sam, it has been a pleasure. Soulstorm -- what a great penname! Very descriptive of how one must feel at times. Thanks so much for letting me know that you've read some of my stories. I'm so glad you've enjoyed them, and I'm glad you think that I treat them as the special, unique characters that they are. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. Hope to see you again! GS Summary:
It seems the boys can't even get into their car some days without finding trouble. Rated T for some language. Winner of Dude Where's My Car category (round 8 Supernatural FanFiction Awards)

Date: 24/07/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 This was so funny I laughed out loud...and I could so see Jensen and Jared doing this scene for real! It would be hilarious. The boys are awesome, and you captured them wonderfully. Keep up the good work! Summary:
banner by Neolani618 Sam has a mysterious teacher who considers hunting a type of homework. A revelation may cause one brother to lose the other in order to keep him. The brothers learn exactly how much they mean to one another, how deeply their bond runs and what one will do for the other. All things supernatural don't have to be evil. Dean and Sam get a look at the 'bigger picture.'

Date: 26/05/07 Title: Chapter 12: Chapter 12 I love the series so far,and I really enjoy the fact you are giving Dean some credit for having a great hunting sense. It is only logical considering the way he was raised and the fact that he had been hunting solo before coming after Sam at Stanford. I also appreciate the relationship between the boys from your stories, you capture it very well. Can't wait for the next update, keep up with the good work! Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading and commenting. This is really how I see Dean, and it makes sense to me too....lol Laura

And I love Bobby, he always gives me hope that somebdy cared for Dean kinda like Dean cared for Sam when they were younger. Keep up the good work! Eh, don't worry, Dean knows it's really not his fault. More to come soon. Thanks for reading and commenting.

I only wish that sometimes the love we all know is there would show a little more on the show. Oh well, that's what fan fiction is for, and you do a wonderful job. Thanks for sharing your 'visions' ;) with us, it was a fantastic journey. Keep up the great work!!! Author's Response: Thanks so much. Summary:

I have no problem imagining Dean as a dragon, and am amazed that you managed to keep his care and concern for Sammy in place and believable. Wonderful job, keep up the great writing!!

Date: 22/08/07 Title: Chapter 3: Fly not with dragons…for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup… Love the story so far, but that doesn't surprise me. I have enjoyed all of your stories about the Supernatural boys. You seem to understand them, and bring the characters I love from the show to life in your writing. And Dean as a dragon is priceless. The description of a dragon at the start of chapter 2 (great titles by the way, they are inspired.) is Dean to a T; as a dragon or not. Poor Sammy. He has finally gone totally emo. The scene where Sam was freaking out, and Dean tried to sheild him with his body, only to have Sam feel safe and protected...it was one of the best examples I have read capturing the exact relationship between the two brothers. I must admit to favoring Dean, so him finally getting to know that someone loves him, really loves him (I am having odd Sally Field flashbacks, lol) is a real pleasure. He deserves it, and you managed it without the poor boy having to endure a horrible chick flick moment. Since you left Dean hanging, literally, I am anxious to read the rest. I am sure it will be amazing, it always is, so keep up the good work. And thank you for using your wonderful talent to share your visions of the boys with us!!!

Date: 09/03/08 Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 16 As a tried and true Dean girl, I love this story. As with all your stories, you seem to realize that you cannot have a good Dean story without Sam. Sam defines him as much as Dean defines Sam. My favorite Hunter would be so much less without the love and compassion Sam brings into his life. I think old papa Winchester would have ground that out long ago, and while that might have made Dean a much scarier, deadly hunter, I don't think he would be as good a one. You seem to capture the sibling relationship so well in all your stories that either you have a few, or your imagination is fantastic. Either way, I look forward to seeing any of your stories come up, because I know I'm in for a treat...a great tale, with characters true enough to seem alive and with story lines sure to catch my imagination. Long live the Winchester Boys, and thanks for sharing your playground with them with us! The boys wouldn't be the boys without each other, that's for sure. Knowing you look forward to my stories is such a thrill, and inspiration. I do have half-siblings, but never really lived with them, don't know them...so I guess it's my imagination that gets the credit. Thanks so much for reading and the great reviews. Summary:
Whilst visiting Pastor Jim in Boxborough Massachusetts, Dean is hit by an uncomfortable sense of Deja-vu, whilst Sam has the uncomfortable feeling that the Pastor may be hiding something. What is it about this picturesque New England town, that could be so terrible that Dean has blocked it out and Jim is happy to keep it that way? Many Thanks to the Brilliant BulletBabe and her awesome Banner making skills - I LOVE it Louey!

Date: 03/10/08 Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 I have been following your story since the beginning, and have enjoyed it very much. I keep telling myself to only read the stories that say complete because I am an impatient reader (LOL), but I'm afraid I'd miss too many great stories that way. I also enjoy stories with the Boys as children or teens, filling in the backspaces for the wonderful characters Jensen and Jared bring so convincingly to life. And I must admit to being a rabid Dean Girl, so your story is especially delightful. I'll be waiting (heavy sigh ;} ) for the next chapter! Keep up the good work! Thank you so much for taking the time to review here - especially as it seems that you do not tend to do this with unfinished pieces. Your encouragement - despite the long wait you had is very kind and means a lot. I understand totally the impatient reader mentality - I AM that kind of MENTAL!!! Will definitely be trying to cut down the wait time for the next chapter - thanks for letting me know that you have stuck with this story from the beginning - that just brings a smile to my face!!! LOL! Please let me know how you find the rest of this Abi. Summary:

Date: 27/04/08 Title: Chapter 1: My Light That Is You Sometimes when we lose something so huge, our brains cannot comprehend the pain and it takes something smaller to bring it into focus. But once focused, like a laser it cuts through everything, burning a path straight into your soul and allowing all of the pain to come crashing in. I thought your use of the flashlight was sheer genius. By fixing it, Dean was trying to help fix Sam (no chick flick moments allowed), while also giving him a bit of their past. Dean was also saying without getting all mushy that he had faith in Sam to keep the light burning. You did a wonderful job, as you always do, and this one made me cry...Kripke and Co. better blow the lid off this story arc in an amazing way (as they always manage to do) because some of the fan fic writers are doing amazing jobs with their versions, and are giving the fans some very high expectations indeed. Thanks for sharing your fantastic tales with us! I'm a bit overwhelmed by the response to this fic, and at a loss for words. Thanks so much for your comment, it's very much appreciated. Laura Summary: Pastor Jim and Dean have a discussion about faith, love, duty and those spiritual beings with wings.

Date: 11/12/08 Title: Chapter 1: My Brother's Tears This episode nearly tore the heart out of me, and Jensen and Jared's acting was, as usual, top notch. I cried while watching it, and again while reading your story. I hope you are wrong though, about Sam, because if he ever turns, Dean will blame himself. Castiel has charged him with saving Sammy and thereby the world, and Dean never could stand to fail his 'Sammy'. And that is how he would see it, as a failure, and I believe it would break him more fully than even his time in Hell. Because Hell was him, and this would be Sam. And he has already showed that he was willing to go back to Hell, but he cannot stop trying to do everything for Sam. Great story though, and I hope you write another, I look forward to reading it. |
