Surely not buried alive; that's just icky! LOL! Yeah, it seems whenever I write John, I always empathize with him more than I intend. He drives me nuts, but I really do understand him. I'm just glad it comes across fairly. Summary:
On edge after John’s death and trying to hold on, Dean gets his long overdue emotional release when the past confronts him with the pain of his childhood on top of the burden of protecting Sammy. I love the geode metaphor; the watch and the amulet; John's loving and comforting words to Dean. It's all so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this with us! Thank you for the wonderful review! We all know Dean needs to release his pain and I just hope the show gives him a scene like this. I love seeing Dean and John together and they have so many issues that need to be resolved. AHBL2 Sam didn’t know the particulars on his brother’s exploits, just that Dean liked sex and women liked Dean. It was just a little sex, no big deal. What more could there possibly be to know? I shouldn’t begrudge him a good time, it’s just, he’s having fun and I’m the only one worrying about this? In one year his bill comes due, how can he just roll over and die? Date: 16/08/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Beautiful! I've talked to others about Dean's sex life and how I thought he was more bark than bite, so to speak, but I'm always voted down. This story is so much how I see Dean; you've captured what I believe to be the real Dean so well! Wow Theresa, I am so glad we see Dean the same. Honestly, with Jensen's sensitive portrayal, I can't see how others can't see this as the real Dean. Especially now, as he has grown and how his past relationships have shown how much he wants something real. Like everything else in his life, what you see is not necessarily what you get. Date: 06/10/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Lovely story. I could really feel Dean's emotions as he watched his little brother not answer the phone....I know there's a lot going on with the boys these days, but I'd love to have more insight into their childhood and the fight that Sam and John had before he left for school. Just how did he and Dean leave it between them and why didn't they speak for two years? Thank you! I, too, would love to see some more flashbacks, and I'm just dying to know how the last fight between John and Sam went down. Maybe Jeffrey Dean will make another appearance someday... *crosses fingers* Anyway, thanks so much for the review :) |
