Lucifer fears that if Sam and Dean keep Hunting together, he will not suceed in Detroit. In order to take Dean out of Sam's life, he recruits two Irish brothers from South Boston (Connor and Murphy MacManus) to kill Dean. This story is set just before Christmas of Season 5. There are spoilers of Seasons 4, 5, and both Boondock Saints movies. (It is not necessary to see both movies in order to follow the plot of this fic, but some of the inside jokes and characterization will be lost on anyone who hasn't seen the Saints movies.)
