 Date: 22/09/07 Title: Chapter 13: When Morning Comes You've written 6 stories now and I've loved every single one. No one writes emotion like you and the relationship between the brothers is so real, there have been times I've been reduced to tears reading your stuff. This story is beautiful, so believable and I can see it all happening in my head, which is a credit to your ability to weave a description of both situation and emotion. My only complaint is, you dont have the time to post more, but even that is understandable when I consider the quality of your work. Looking forward to more! Author's Response: Lol, it's really funny you should say that about the emotion. Your the second person this week to say something similar. Just call me Emo girl, lol. But, I do take the brother's relationship very seriously and I try to keep it front and center, so it means a lot to me that you think I do that well. For me, that's what its all about, the relationship. I love how these guys love each other. It's great to see a story about brothers who are close and care for one another deeply. I think it helps that I have a good relationship with my sister and can identify. Yeah, I do wish I could update faster, but my brain works a little slower than some. However, if you'd like to take up a collection and send me enough money to support the family, I'll be thrilled to stay home and write fan fiction...that'd be awesome! LOL. Date: 20/10/07 Title: Chapter 14: Dancing with the Devil My heart was in my mouth the whole time, while reading this absolutely fantastic, thrill ride of a chapter. Date: 15/12/07 Title: Chapter 15: Fire in the Sky I was on my way to bed when I saw this posted...and well...who needs sleep anyway? This has been one of my favourite stories ever since you started posting and wow, what a finish... ...even as I was reading the love scene, knowing she was already dead, a part of me was hoping and praying that he could find a happy life with Hannah. She was so good for him and you documented that beautifully. The action and angst in this whole story has been second to none, and you seem to have such a great handle on the emotional content of everything you write... ...it's the kind of writing I aspire to, and probably always will... Thank you for posting and roll on Jan...'The wake up call' is also a huge favourite of mine (I recommend it to all when they ask) and I can't wait for the sequel. Date: 15/04/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Firstly I feel I should appologise to you cos I must have read this a year ago when you first posted and I absolutely loved it, but wasn't a member then so never reviewed. And I should have rectified that...so I intend to now...lol Loved the beginning of this story...this first chapter sets the scene so well, both boys are so at odds with one another and you've written that so beautifuly. And the little hints to Dean's illness are subtle but obvious at the same time and I want to scream at Sam to pay more attention...lol Great chapter, moving on to chap 2...

Date: 15/04/08 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Great snarky fighting between the boys and I loved this line... “I am a fierce hunter. I kill bad things. I take no prisoners. I down a few beers at the end of the day and I go to sleep. I get up and do it again. I feel nothing. I love nothing, because if I did, and I lost it, I couldn’t live with myself.” ...Sam really has summed up his brother hasn't he?? lol And the whole segment on the roof is great, fantastic descriptions and I remember racing to the next chapter the first time I read it...awesome work...moving on...

Great angsty snark from the boys again and it's all just starting for Dean isn't it...lol Moving on...

You've done a fantastic job of writting Sam's POV in this chapter, the whole...Why did Dean have to be unconscious for him to feel connected? To feel needed? And poor Dean, it's only gonna get a whole lot worse and there can't be many things worse than being that exposed and vulnerable for him...

Date: 15/04/08 Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5 “Why do something the easy way when you can do it the hard way.” What a great line to sum up the whole Winchester ethos... ...and you have NO idea how terrifying it is to think of a 95 year old half blind doctor with a scalpel. Heartbreaking when Dean looked at Sam and saw John instead...that bit got to me real bad...

His father’s death meant more to him than simply missing the man, it was the end of a purpose. Date: 15/04/08 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Damn this was one detailed chapter and you must have either done a shed load of research, been in a medical job for quite a while or been through this yourself... ...but whichever it is, you did a bang up job. I was nurse for years (not surgical I must admit) but you even have me squirming in my seat...and holding my stomach protectively...credit to your writing!

Another incredibly intense chapter and another one that made me squirm, but in a good way...lol So many best bits it's hard to quote them but I particulaly liked Bates' story...and Ash's part in the story..trust Ash to have a stash of 'wakky bakky' and to give it up for Dean...I did like him... ...and so on to the big finish...
