Author's Response: Thank you so much, Judy. I hope I never disappoint you. This one is all emotion - not much action here. A little bit in the next chapter, but I'm focussing on the journey back for all three of them. And it's a long rough road. Thank you - friends who have been affected are getting back on their feet slowly. Massive cleanup underway everywhere you look. There was so much mud and silt and debris, it will take weeks and weeks to get it all picked up and washed down. And our poor Moreton Bay - it's a marine park, and at the moment it's been copping all that muddy, contaminated water washed down the Brisbane River. Not sure what the impact will be on the marine life, but it will be huge. Jules

Queensland has a huge cleanup task ahead, and it hasn't been made any easier by the Category 5 cyclone which hit the far north of the state last week. Mother nature is really throwing everything she has at us at the moment, with floods down the east coast and bushfires in Perth on the western side. Really glad you enjoyed the story. Especially as I hadn't planned on writing it - lol. It's all the fault of Oceane and her little carrot she dangled in front of me. But I'm very happy she did, because it was an interesting exercise in seeing if I could make it work. Thanks again for reading, and I hope you enjoyed 6.12 when you finally got to see it. Jules

Date: 22/04/11 Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14 I feel for Gary being conflicted about helping Sam. He doesn't want anything bad to happen to Brian but at the same time knows this has to stop. I'm glad Bobby and Sam are going to take Dean with them into the woods. That guarantees that things won't go smoothly. I've got a feeling more excitement and suspense are ahead. Date: 04/05/11 Title: Chapter 17: Chapter 17 "Stay here," Sam said firmly. "No matter what you hear, you stay here. Alright?" He took out one of the guns but refused to hand it over until Dean agreed. Raise your hand if you knew stubborn Dean just couldn't stay put in the cabin. *Raises hand* I didn't mind the wait. This chapter was worth it. I'm glad Sam and Bobby know about the cross. I hope that's the key to stopping the Jersey Devil. You really know how to voice Bobby. I could hear him saying these lines. I hope you write more stories in the future.
