oooh!  So whoever sent Dean that text on John's phone sent them straight to where Sara Jane is buried?  Are we going to find out who did that? I thought it was cute when Dean said 'geez'. The air Dean forced past his lips made a horse-like noise.  funny!  I could see that like it was on the show.

Author's Response:

Eventually, we'll find out who sent the text.

I know I've picked up some things from my husband so I wanted Dean to have that same blending of personalities.

I'm glad the horse sound worked for you.  Sometimes when I envision things in my head I'm not sure if they're going to work for other people.

Thanks for the review!

Wow!  Steamy--- I like!  It was passionate without being vulgar.  Not easy to do.

I guess I'm going to have to go back and read stories 1-4.  Dean's married?!  That could be good or really bad.  Or is this a dream?

Co-ordinates?  Are they from John?  Or is someone pretending to be him?

I like the combination of shy and strong in Asher.  I'll have to read more to see if she's right for Dean.

He needed to know that she was strong enough to be the wife of a hunter--- the wife of a Winchester.  Cool line!

It was neat that Sam was watching out for Asher even thought he was jumping all over Dean.

I'm off to read more.

Wowy=zowy!  So Dean and Asher are going to spawn the anti-Christ?  That's deep.  What season does this take place in?

Ruby and Sam's actions and conversation is exactly like something Kripke would write.  They're both so sarcastic and the vernacular is witty.

So if Dean's married why is Sam living with Asher's parents?  Why doesn't he have a place of his own?  He's a grown man.

Eeek!  Sam busting in on Dean and Asher was unexpected.  Funny, too.

I love the sparring between Sam and Dean, especially when Dean sticks out his chewed food.  Such a Dean thing to do.  And Asher seems to be okay with who he is.  She hasn't changed him yet.

I like that you show the bond between Sam and Asher and not just concentrate on Dean and Asher.  I mean, he'd have to like the woman his brother marries.  he and Dean are too close for there to be that strife.

John'sphone---- yeah!  Now we're getting somewhere.  So is he dead, in heaven, in hell or wandering the earth?

Author's Response:

Glad you liked my little bit of comedy with Sam busting in on the newlyweds.

Yay!!  Thank you!  I don't want Asher to have in the back of her mind that once she and Dean are married that she'll 'improve' him.  I want her to know exactly who she's getting and accept him for who he is.  But I don't want her to be some Pollyanna.  this is one of my most important goals when I write a Dean/Asher story.

And yes, Sam and Asher have a healthy relationship, too.  She didn't just marry Dean, she married his family.  I love my in-laws and enjoy being with them very much.  I wanted the same for Asher.

As for John's phone--- keep reading.

Dean helping Asher in the kitchen was cute.  I can see him in my head--- all domesticated.

I'm definitely going to have to backtrack stories.  I missed the wedding, the honeymoon, Hell Queens, snakemen and the rivalry between Dean and Chris.  Is there a reason Asher has only man friends?

I love that Asher isn't messing up the brotherhood between Sam and Dean.  That's what makes the show so good.  I like that she isn't horning in and taking over.  It's cool that she feels like she's intruding instead of Sam feeling like the third wheel.

I liked the part where Asher admits she's going to snuggle up with one of Dean's shirts.  And their good-bye was so cute.  Not too mushy---- just mushy enough.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the great review.  I'm thrilled that you still like what you're reading!  Dean isn't too domesticated, just enough to be responsible with household chores.  Something I'm sure he had to do when he was growing up.

Backtracking stories will fill in the blanks but I hope it isn't necessary for you to understand this story.

Asher is based on the women of my family.  I've taken those qualities which make them special and unique and rolled them into one person.  Asher having mostly male friends comes from my oldest daughter.  She just seemed to get along better with men.  Girls can be so jealous and catty.

Yay!  I wanted to keep the integrity of the show, especially the bond between Sam and Dean.  I didn't want to change that more than necessary when Asher married into the family.

The goodbye needed to be heartfelt without being gooey.  So glad you thought I did it justice. And what woman doesn't find something with her man's scent on it to keep close when she'd missing him?  That seemed only natural.

Thanks again for the review!

Good chapter.  I like that they're just driving like they do on the show.

"I smell?"  He raised an arm and lowered his head to his armpit to take a whiff.  LOL!!  I know guys who really do that.  In the last chapter you mentioned that Asher was going to get one of Dean's shirts and smell his cologne and in this chapter Dean is smelling Asher's perfume.  Neat trick.

"Oh hell no!  I know you aren't asking me about what I think you're asking me about."  Hialrious!  I'd hate to be in Sam's shoes right now.

Author's Response:

The best compliment that you can give me is to say I'm staying true to Kripke's vision.  Thanks for that!

Yeah, unfortunately I know guys who do that too.  Just seemed like something Dean might do so I stuck it in.  Glad it works for you.

I've heard my husband say that occasionally a woman would walk by him and he'd catch a whiff of my perfume on her.  As a woman, I love that! I figured turn-about was fair play.  If Asher can do it, so can Dean.

Watch out Sam!  You're walking on very thin ice.  You know Sam has to be very worried to even bring up the topic with Dean.

Thanks for reading and writing down a few comments.  I love hearing from you!

Lucas!  I love it when characters from the show pop into stories.  And he has a new family.

You mentioned them being officially dead so I know it's sometime after season 3 but I hope you explain how much time has passed since Lucas' real dad was killed.  A kid jsut doesn't get over that.

I don't like Opal one bit!  What a bitch!  I'm glad Sam isn't taking her crap.

Author's Response:

I think I do mention in future chapters how much time has passed since Andrea and Lucas met the winchesters.  (bites fingernails)  I hope I did.  I've already written those chapters.  Now I'll have to check.  Thanks for keeping me on my toes.

Yeah Opal--- not my fave character but it was fun to write her.  Sam, of course, is sticking up for Lucas.

Thanks for staying with me.

Wow!  Two chapters in one day!  Jackpot!

Too bad I wasn't there to see Dean changing his clothes.  i would have liked that!

Sam and Dean flow very naturally.  And I like that Dean hasn't been tamed by Asher but he's considerate of her.  Also glad Sam likes having a sister.

I like that Dean was able to confide in Asher and that it wasn't sappy.

So is Sara Jane buried under the road?  Is that why she can haunt two hotels?

I think it's funny the way Sam teases Dean about being lovey-dovey.  We just saw one small example of how tame he is when he's in love in Route 666.  He let Cassie walk all over him and wast totally adorable.  But I'm glad to see it isn't saccharine with Asher and Dean.

Author's Response:

Whew!  This chapter was a little tricky for me.  I wanted to show that Asher and Dean have the kind of genuine relationship where they feel safe confiding in one another but Dean's so stingy with his emotions that I felt I was walking a tight rope.  It's good to know I didn't fall.

All will be explained.  Keep reading.

yeah, I loved Route 666 because we got to see a totally different side of Dean.  I thought he was adorable, too so I wanted a little of that between he and Asher.

Yay!  Someone finally hits on Sam.  He needs a little love action, too.

I LOVE Dowser!  He's really funny.  And the way Dean looks up to him is cute.

Author's Response:

Of course Sam has to get a little female attention!

I really enjoyed writing Dowser.  I'm glad he works for you.  and Dean needs a hero besides his dad.

Ooh! Asher has some freaky baby radar ESP?!

Dean and Asher becoming parents?  I'm not sure how I feel about that. I think it would cramp Dean's style.

I loved Sam's reaction to finding the old bridge.  Now will they find the baby's bones?

Author's Response:

Thanks again for your review!  A lot of people don't take the time to leave one but I enjoy knowing what people think about what I'm doing.  It helps me stay on course.

Baby radar--- wait and see.  (Aren't you getting tired of me saying that?  Sorry.)

I knew the part about Dean and Asher becoming parents would be controversial.  Don't worry.  I'm not ready for Dean to change that much.

The baby's bones.  Yep!  You guessed it.  Keep reading.

Another super chapter!  I loved getting inside Dean's head and how his mind changed from being so uncertain about becoming a father to looking forward to all the joyful things that will happen when he does.  I also liked his fond memories of the past.  all those things he did like giving Sammy french fries and learning about the stars on John's lap and watching the moon through the rear window were great!  So many times we hear about the crappy way they were raised but this there have to have been good times, too.  I think John did the best he could and although there were a lot of times when he wasn't the best father, I believe there were a lot of times that he showed his love for his boys.

Author's Response:

I picked my husband's brain for part of this.  I needed a man's perspective on becoming a father.

As much time as the boys spent in the Impala there had to be a wealth of good memories.  And John really did love his sons.  he did what he thought was best for them and like every parent made mistakes.  But there were also times when he got it right and went to bed thinking 'this was a good parent day.'

Thanks for letting me know what you thought!

Sam's got a lot on his plate.  I can't wait till Dean finds out he's going to hell and Sam's kept it from him.  Because you know he's going to find out.  They always do and it's never good.  This time there's bound to be fireworks!

Oh yeah, there'll be fireworks!

Thanks for reading!

Aughhhh!  Way too short and an evil cliffhaniger!  You are wicked!

Utburd?  Cool.  Is that real or something you made up?  I'll have to check into that.

Author's Response:

Sorry you felt it was too short but I'm glad the cliff hanger got you.

Yes, the utburd is a real being.  It can be rather nasty.

Thanks again for the R & R!

OMG!  You can't leave us here!  No fair.

Okay, great chapter.  If you couldn't tell I loved it!  The action was good, the descriptions were good.  I could picture Dean giving that look when he said sonuvabitch.  Sort of like the Skipper on Gilligan's Island where he looks at the camera and gives a look.

And suspense was good.  I knew Dean was going to fall through or lose his balance but when he did it was still great.  And the owl--- awesome!  Once you described the water and the rocks I had a feeling he was going to end up in it but I didn't think you'd throw Laura in there, too.

Post again soon!!!

Author's Response: Wow!  I'm delighted that you liked this chapter so much.  I like the comparison of Dean to the Skipper.  good one!  That's kind of the look I was going for but you described it better.  I'm very glad that you liked his spill into the river even though you knew it was coming.  And as for Laura... I can be a little devilish.  but it's all good fun, right?

and no air.  Did her mention no air?  Funny.

It was so touching that Dean's last thoughts were of Asher.  That's a man in love!  But we always knew Dean loves fiercely and with his entire being.  And when he said that he knew Sam would take care of Asher and his baby... so sad.

Sam's conflict about Dean's soul was something I didn't expect.  But it amped up the drama. You brought up some interesting points with that.

Dean's first words, "took ya long enough" were so Dean!

Author's Response:

I'm glad I had at least one surprise for you.  When Dean was bound for Hell in the show I had all these questions about the soul separating from the body.  Sam was my way of getting them out and hopefully making people think.  I'm glad you thought it was interesting.

You saying that my portrayal of Dean were so him is the best compliment I could get.  I'm so not Eric Kripke but it's nice to know I don't butcher his masterpiece.  ;)

First off: whew!!  So glad that Dean isn't going to be a father.  I'm still adjusting to him being a husband.  I have mixed feelings about him being married but I like Asher so...

I was surprised that Dean and Asher were disappointed.  I would have thought they'd be jumping for joy.  But I wouldn't know since I'm still in college with no steady boyfriend.  But to me it would be champagne time.

I like how Dean plays off like he wasn't worried, that it was just Asher.

Loved the whole Batman, Robin, Alfred thing! Cool that Dowser even got into it by making fun of Robin's sissy tights.

Author's Response:

I just wanted to throw a baby scare in there.  Most people are still getting used to me marrying Dean off so it will be quite awhile before there's a new addition to the family.

The disappointment was a personal experience.

Dean plays everything cool but we know what's underneath his calm facade.  And I know he's been compared to Batman a lot but I couldn't resist, especially now that he has accomplices.

Thanks for reading and reviewing.  It's like beer and peanuts.

OMFG!!!  I thought this was going to be just a nice little wrap up.  The shit's really hitting the fan now.

You are pure evil to end this with a cliff hanger!  I had to go back to make sure that you hadn't checked the story completed box.  At least that's good because that means there's more coming. Bu I want it now!!

Please, please, please the next chapter soon!  What do I have to do for you to post it this weekend?  (on my knees begging)

Oh, I noticed all the lyrics to Rock a Bye Baby were in your chapter titles.  That was cool considering so much centered around babies and Laura did fall taking Dean with her.  A very clever idea!

Author's Response: Thank you for such a wonderful review!  I'm thrilled that I surprised you.  Muah ha ha!  Wait till you see what's coming.

Reviewer: Dorhinky Signed
Date: 22/02/12 Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 23: The Hell Hound's Out of the Bag

OMFG!!  This was epic!  Don't tell me that this is where you're ending this story.  THERE BETTER BE ANOTHER CHAPTER!

There was so much emotion and dynamic between all Asher, Dean, and Sam.  And I loved how quickly the attitudes changed.  Dean went from only mildly concerned to angry then sad then furious.  I loved it when he punched Sam.  (Sam needs to punch him back one of these days.)

The way Dean's sadness for his wife's grief overpowers his fear of Hell is so beautiful.  That is Dean Winchester!  Putting others first.

I also love that Sam and Asher have a good familial relationship.  It seems so natural.  I would think that nay woman involved with Sam or Dean would have to be approved of by the other.  And Sam really likes Asheer.

At first I thought Asher was going to mad at Sam but then she wanted to kiss him for doing what he did.

Poor Asher.  How horrible to find out Dean is still going to Hell after thinking he was safe.  The part where she confides that she's only kidding herself where Dean's death is concerned was touching.

It seems like Dean and Asher have a very good relationship.  Kind of like Dean had with Lisa honest, and deep and.  they were equals in the relationship and their home.  And Lisa had a practical view of Dean's past and her life with him.  but with Asher he has all that plus the heart-pumping, pulse-racing excitement of being in love.

I like that Asher keeps telling Dean that love conquers all and then works to make it true.  Sleeping Beauty is one of my favorites.

Date: 23/02/12 Title: Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Lost Control

OH NO YOU DIDN'T!!!  Christo!  I had to check because only a demon would leave us hanging like that.  And you're skipping the next story to go on?  I think there's something in the Geneva Convention about that.

I loved everything!  Loved the bond between Asher and Sam, loved the hurt between brothers because of their love for one another, loved the depth of the love Dean has for Asher, love that she knows him enough to know when to push and when to back off.

That whole paragraph about how Dean needs Asher and all the ways she comforts him was gold!  Admitting to himself how much he actually needs her made my heart melt.  'Needed to let her fill him until he forgot everything but her.' Awesome!!

I loved that Dean thought about how he would have coped with Sam's betrayal in the past and realizes how he has to deal now.  I loved that Asher is his remedy.

And caught with no clothes.  Eeeep!  This is gonna be awkward for them but I think good for us.  A naked Dean Winchester...ahhh. I can only dream.

'He'd lost himself in need and had left his wife unprotected.  In more ways than one.  The thought popped into his head.

And did I mention the part where they talk about their marriage being a mistake and wanting a divorce.  I had to hold my breath.  I thought now that Dean's going to Hell he might take that out.  Whew!  Dodged that bullet.

I loved that the voice in Sam's head was Dean's voice. That really shows how much he still loves and depends on his big brother.

So why have they been taken?  What do the kidnappers want?  Is it a trap for Sam?  Are they demons or some other sort of monster?

See you have to post the next story.  You'll drive me to do crazy things if I don't get my fix.  You can't really just leave us hanging here.

Author's Response:

Wow!  what a review!  Where do I start?  Not a demon, at least I don't think so.

I can't tell you how happy I am that you 'loved' so many things in this chapter.  I really wanted this to be a shifting dynamic, showing the relationship between all the parties involved.  I mean, Asher didn't just marry Dean.  She got Sam, too.  They're a package deal.

I hoped that this chapter would win readers over to Asher's side.  I wanted people to see how good she is with Sam and to Dean and know how genuinely and completely Dean loves her, enough to make a few changes in his life but not change the guy we all love.

No clothes.  Yeah!  That's going to be problematic in the next episode.  As for the who and why, you'll have to see.

Maybe I'll be able to post both stories at once.  Maybe... no promises.

Once again, thanks for hanging in there with me and keeping me on the ball.

Wow!  That poem was creepy good!

A good introductory chapter.  I'm glad you hit the ground running again.  I really like that you don't ease us into your stories but throw us in the deep end and make us swim.

What's with the big bad rating?  What are we going to read about?  You said this is going to tell us about Dean and Asher's firsts.  Please tell me the rating is for their first sexual encounter.  You've been leading us down that path for so long that even I'm getting a hard-on.  ;)

This chapter makes me wonder how this is going to play out.  Judging by the summary someone is going to go bonkers.  My money is on Asher which means Sam and Dean will have all sorts of angsty moments.  Yay for me!

Don't think you're forgiven.  I'm still mad at you for leaving us dangling at the end of #5.

Author's Response:

Geez, you really can hold a grudge.  :)  I was hoping that this chapter would win you over and you'd forget I left you hanging in the last story.  Guess not.

The big bad rating is for the wedding night.  We are such voyeurs.  I've had friends whining about not skimping on the details since they found out there was a wedding.  (Actually I think there were more interested in the wedding night rather than the wedding.)

All will be revealed.  Just keep reading.  And thanks for the R & R!
