Date: 06/09/08 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Ending with a Difference This was a nice story. Enjoyed reading it and really appreciated it that you didn't dumb Dean down like so many writers do. As for the whole Civil War question, I've always figured with them being from Kansas that they would lean more towards the North. Glad you liked the story. I try to portray Dean as I see him, and at the same time divide the smart ideas roughly equally between Sam and Dean. I think the Winchesters are a modern family and the reason they settled in Kansas was job-related, not that they were an old, established Kansas family. That way, they'd have no established pro-Union leaning, so I was free to give them a Southern background. Sue Summary: A Saturday morning their dad kicks Sam and DEan out of the apartment to go play at a park, and chaous ensues.

Date: 14/09/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Nice one! You know Dean had to have suffered from seeing Sam die like that and it stands to reason he'd be having nightmares of it all. But he also wouldn't allow Sam to be openly comforting him so Sam would have to do things like this. Really good insight. Thanks :) I always figured Sam's a pretty insightful guy and IMO there's no way Dean wouldn't be having nightmares about his baby brother dying in his arms. I could just imagine Sam doing little things like this because he knows that Dean isn't the chick-flick moment type of guy and he'd never admit to needing that comfort. Date: 19/11/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - The Conversation Loved it. The story got down to the core of who the brothers really are. Sam displayed a joy and an innocence when he first saw the angels and after the life he's led and the things he's seen, Sam shouldn't have had any to show. And while Dean has his faults, his strengths far outnumber them. While Uriel may be a condescending arrogant bitch of an angel, at least God has faith in the Dean, and hopefully, in Sam. Thanks! I agree, I think Castiel and God will have faith in both Wincesters. It was so sad to see how Sam's enthusiasm waned after finding out the angels weren't what he expected. Dean was a great big brother tho, saying baseball is still a beautiful game and offering him back his hope. Date: 23/12/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 This was a gift all on its own and I thank you for it. And you basically did keep Sam and Dean in character although I'm sure it was very hard to do so with a sentimental story. The biggest thing was the prospect of hope. Throughout the seasons, the brothers have always taken turns to support the other and, in this, it wouldn't be any different. While Dean offered hope to Sam so many times when he was scared of turning evil, now it is Sam's turn to find that glimmer of hope for Dean. You did an excellent job and this story is so going into my favorites. Merry Christmas!! Thank you so much for the wonderful comments! You have no idea how happy they made me feel! I loved the humor mixed with the angst and pain and was very glad that the boys got their Merry Christmas after all. Can't wait for the sequel. The only problem I had were the British-isms.
