Sam and Dean are asked to take care of something. Language barriers, stubborn poltergeists, nasty memories causing old wounds to rip at the seams: it's a typical week in the life of our favourite grumpy stumpy dude and his tall emo yardstick of morality. Set during season five but no relation to any story arcs, plots or episodes. This is not about nor does it mention the apocalypse, angels, demons or in fact demon blood. Also, this may be a little more serious than my usual fare. Be warned. Rated T for language and limited gore.

 Date: 12/08/10 Title: Chapter 12: 十二 (Twelve) I finally found time to read this story in one sitting and I am oh so glad that I did. This story had it all - angst, humor, family, whump. I loved it all and was sad to see it end. Dean's relationship to Chiu-Wai was spot on and completely in character and I'm heartbroken knowing that the goodbyes were coming. Congratulations on an excellent story! Summary: Angsty Dean and Sam trying to help. Because even heroes need a little help now and then.
Takes place before and after 5.11, Sam, Interrupted. Angst/comfort more than h/c, with some schmoop and lots of season 5 spoilers.

Date: 19/09/10 Title: Chapter 1: Sam's Story This was amazing! Sam finally seeing the car, his brother and his life for what they really are is so heartfelt. And also heartbreaking in that it only came at the end. The ending had me in complete tears with the imagery of Sam holding onto the memory of two young brothers cocooned inside the Impala in safety and love and determined to have that memory support him through the trials of hell. What this show, these characters do to us!
Author's Response: Hey, Anna! Thanks so much, really appreciated. I love seeing Dean through Sam's eyes and how Kripke had the memories bombarding him as he wrestled back control was one of my fav moments from S5. This show does affect us, so deeply and so totally. And when they show that bond, that undying love between the brothers, well, that is what we are all waiting for. I love any and all flashbacks to the younger boys, how Dean was always there for Sammy, how Sam always looked up to his big brother. Despite the trials and separation the brothers later experienced, those memories always bind them together. Five days and we get to see their reunion. Can't wait. Take care, B.J. Summary:

Date: 17/12/10 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 I would love it if you would continue with this one. I've read so many stories about the aftermath but yours is the first one where Re-souled Sam is pissed at Dean. I'd love to see where this led. And like you said, it's such a long time until the new episode that we need something to read in the meantime. ;-) I am not sure if I could make a story out of this, maybe. But thank you for wanting it to go on. I am sure Sam will not be too happy at all with Dean, but I guess we will have to wait and see. And the next episode is so far away! Date: 15/12/11 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3 I waited until the story was finished which is why I haven't reviewed until now. This was fudgin' fantastic!!! The way you tied the loss of Mary with the boys not killing the deer while hunting with Bobby was amazing and unusual. And then you added actual supernatural beings into the mix! The characters were in keeping with what we've seen unfold in the past 7 years and there wasn't any time in the story when I felt the boys or Bobby were OOC. This was an excellent work of fiction and it will be going into my favorites. And yes, my mother died when I was 6 and I'm 49 now. You are always a motherless child.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, I am honoured with the attention you have given me. I try to write true to the story, I never portray Sam as weak in any of my stories as so many do... The hurt Dean carries every day was born and worn from that fateful day when he was four. Sadly, you know what I mean... Maybe I'll cast my own demons in a story one day...this one touched on them..
