What a difference a year makes.  This time last year I was posting the very first chapter of my first story.  The other day I posted my eighth chapter of my 27th (I think…lol) story.  Not bad for a woman that had never written anything (other than those pesky, ‘What did you do this summer?’ essays).  I think I’ve managed to keep some of you entertained, laughing at me if not with me, and I’ve more importantly found an escape from the everyday minutia that makes up my life.  As a wife to my high school sweetheart and a stay-at-home mother to three kids that’s more important than I can say.

 

I’ve also read some of the most creative, heart wrenching and throw down cool stories ever, and this comes from a girl that keeps a book in her purse at all times just in case five minutes presents itself.  I work hard at juggling both the stories I’m reading and the stories I’m writing as both are every bit as important to me. 

 

I have been addicted to Supernatural from the very first and look forward to every season with anticipation.  Kripke and crew have proven themselves beyond doubt leaving me to simply sit back and enjoy the show.  What more could I ask for.

 

To those that I have met on this site, what can I say, you have opened up the world for me in ways I’d never imagined.  So, that’s it.  Now go get reading and stop wasting your time here ;)

 

9/27/2008 - Okay folks, so all this talk of story quality had me running through some of my older stories.  Like a lot of new authors my first stories were rough to say the least.  So, I've decided that I'm going to go through, one by one and revamp those that need the most help.  In most cases I've simply fixed the POV and punctuation mistakes and in some I've gone so far as to clean up plot points.  So for those that have read these oldies before I hope you enjoy them even more now, and to the newer readers well, I just hope you like.  Catch you all later - Kel
