Date: 10/12/10 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 I think it was fine to leave in that Sam wasn't dead but wounded, after all, Dean wouldn't have been certain that Sam was actually dead, and this ishis POV. Interesting to revisit this and now I am wondering all over again about the bloodline thing - if Sam had stayed dead would Lucifer have thought to go after Adam like Michael eventually did? Presumably Adam could have made an alternative vessel for either Heavenly brother - oh no I've just talked myself out of that one because Sam also had the demon blood. Um. Yeah. Anyhow, nice little missing scene! Author's Response: Hi, Ann-Marie, Yes, I think that Dean might not have realised that Sam had slipped away, and wasn't just hovering on the brink. Re the bloodline - when you think about the pilot flashback and what was revealed at the end of season two, Sam was primed to be Lucifer's vessel from a baby, so even though Adam was the same bloodline they might not have been able to get him ready in time. That's my theory, anyway. Although it's interesting that Dean needed no such preparation to become Michael's vessel - he didn't have to drink angel blood. Hmm......bit of a conundrum there, considering Lucifer's still classed as an archangel, albeit a fallen one. Glad you enjoyed the story. Jules Summary:

Date: 05/04/11 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 I liked the outside POV but I think for the purposes of this story, she was too sympathetic and warm towards Dean, so when the reveal comes in the final part, it is is a bit too much of a leap to go from a young girl attracted to the handsome stranger, to the Siren who is going to try and kill him. Maybe introducing some kind of doubts on her part, or the beginnings of some kind of antagonism towards Dean a little earlier would help prepare the way without necessarily giving the whole plot away. Apart from that, some lovely descriptions and a great idea. Hope that helps? Author's Response: Thanks so much for your comments, Amber. Date: 21/06/11 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Aw Dean.... A very sad and scary look inside his head - all alone and trying to stray sstrong while he grows steadily more desperate... Cleverly written, I liked the short sharp sections and the young kid voice was authentic, as was the way he refused to acknowledge his growing fear. Author's Response: I love to go rooting around in Dean's head (even though it's a very scary place to be...) So glad you like this, and thanks for writing! Summary: Dean’s confused.
