Awww...Poor Dean, he's a mess physically and emotionally. What a great idea you get to pick up right after the end of BUABS. I'm looking forward for more.

Dean is so broken physcially and emotionally. Knowing Dean he must feel so guilty to not have save the boy's life. Sam, taking care of him, I love it when the brothers take care of each other.  What about the odd glow that Sam saw in Dean's eyes, intriguing. I'm so loving this story so far. Nicole, can't wait to know what you've in store for the brothers.

OMG!Dean is going to be the next victim. I love hurt/comfort stories. I'm very intrigued about who's behind all those deaths. Riveting and captivating so far. Can't wait for more.

Well, I hope I can work in something big with the next chapter (which I haven't started yet, now, now, back girl!)...I think this next "something" has to occur before we can really get into who is Hannah and what is her connection to Dean. 

With every chapter that seems to  be liked, I get more and more nervous about writing the next, lol.  Don't want to disappoint and all that jazz.  But thanks bunches for your words of encouragement...if it were in physical written form, I'd totally have to go out and buy a cute keepsake box to keep them in :) .

You've evil Nicole, the chapter ended just as Dean was going to reveal is terrible secret. What he did to think that Sam would be horrified by what Dean did and leave him alone. I love you took the same scene we got in the last chapter but this time with Dean point of view, very well done. Terrific work Nicole.

Oh, well, mighty big thanks, Oceane!  Actually, it was Gaelic's idea to start the chapter with a recap through Dean's eyes...I needed help getting started and she was quick to jump in.  Sometimes getting started is the hardest part for me...once I get going, it just starts coming along.

Gosh, you don't know how happy your kind words make me...I sometimes worry that people aren't as thrilled with this story as WUC...'cause I know I've pulled back on the emo a little.  But, you and everyone here seem to okay with that.  Thanks for sending me your thoughts.

Evil cliffy indeed. What a very intense and powerful chapter. Awww...Poor Sammy, once the anger left him he realized what he did. Don't tell me it's too late, Sam will never forgive himself. And to have Dean so emotionally and physically broken, gutwrenching. Please, please, please, don't leave us like this too long, update soon.

Another emotional chapter. Loved it very much especially those scenes, Sam rocking with Dean in his arms, a very poignant moment. When Dean was delirious, that was heartwrenching, it was so hard for Sam to see his big brother in so much pain. Dean thinking that Bobby is his dad and Bobby mustered his courage and said to Dean that his dad is gone, awww... so sad. The beast raking his claws across the window, chilled me to the bones. I hope that Bobby's plan'll work, at least Dean is ready to fight. It was worth the wait Nicole and I'll look forward for the next chapter.

Wow!That chapter left me speechless and out of breath. Nicole, you got me at the edge of my seat while reading. That was so intense and powerful, you did a fabulous work with this chapter Claire. Can't wait for the epilogue.

Sooo, Oceane, you wanna write that epilogue for me? Hmm? Epilogues are so hard for me because I know it needs to be satisfying in a way all the previous chapters weren't. It's the last thought of the story. Man, I hope it turns out good, but I can't look while I write it, I'll wait and see what you all have to say, lol.

Great story so far. Dean got his first memory and now he took off. Where's gone. I hope that Sam and Elizabeth'll find him. Can't wait for more.

OMG!What a cliffhanger. That was an intense chapter, so lot of tension between Dean and Sam. I so can't wait to know what'll happen next.

I enjoyed very much this chapter. Dean by remembering that past hunt saved Liz's life. Dean is feverish, what's wrong with him, can't wait for more. I wish you a great time.

Poor Dean, what a terrible day for him  and now Sam forced him to go in that diner. I understand what Sam is trying to do, it must be hard for him to do this. I'm looking forward for the the next chapter, can't wait to know how well the diner'll go.

In a way, I would guess that Sam is feeling as lost as Dean.  i sorta played this in the sense that Sam is used to Dean pretending things arent' happening, and then all of a sudden he's not doing this.  As much as Sam is constantly trying to get Dean to open up, I think now he'd just rather have his carefree brother back.  THanks for the review!

I'm so loving this story, so poignant, so intense. Look to me that Dean's recovery won't be easy and it won't be easy for Sam either. You're very good about Dean's reaction, emotional state of him losing his leg. Amazing work so far. I'm hooked, I so can't wait for more.

Author's Response: I've told others that this is most definitely new territory for me.  I've never experienced losing a part of my body nor have I even known someone who has.  On top of that, I have to figure out not only how Dean would react, but how injured Dean would react.  You have no idea just how encouraging it is to know that my readers think the writing is accurate.  I will try to continue to give this story my all, just for all of you.
