Date: 18/10/07 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Tie My Shoes That was an awesome chapter! I love how Dean was just eventually on "coffee coffee coffee". I lol'd at that. You don't always have to have action. You do need those transition chapters, and this one was beautifully done. You could feel Dean's desperation to reach Palo Alto, and the memories were a nice touch, along with the one line Jess said repeating over and over again. Awesome chapter! I actually did a bit of taser research for Resort Breagadoir, before I had the frisky sauna gal taser Dean. Got to love research. And I found a video of three young blokes getting tasered by some cops as a training thing. It was rather funny, seeing the boys' reactions. And we find out where Sam is in later chapters...or do we? *evil laugh*. So she broke through to him just a bit, only to have John come through. You know, I imitate my mom a lot, but this takes it to a whole 'nother level. I knew it had to be because Dean thought Sam was dead. But I knew you didn't do death fics, so there lies my confusion. And who is the tall stranger with Dean Doe's file? Dun-dun-DUN!! Epilogue, yay! Dun-dun-DUUUUN!! And holy crap I about passed out I was laughing so hard when Sam and John were arguing. Is that wrong? I always wondered what would to happen if some of the people they've saved, some of those who knew what they did, were to see some of the news reports of the 'hardened criminals', and they're eventual 'deaths' haha. I grew to love your character, the springy old man. I love that he had a happy ending, depsite the fact that his house went up. Very awesome story! An outsider's POV always fascinates me. Are you thinking of maybe having a second encounter some time in the future? The man is mobile now, maybe he could run into the boys somewhere... :) Thanks for the awesome read Liz. So you have normal people turning into werewolf like things, but the characteristics are nothing like a werewolf. Not only that but a town that seemingly knows what's going on and is deciding to ignore it and cover it up. Hope the boys figure this one out soon haha...Awesome work so far! One thing that turns me off quicker than a light bulb at a rave is a misrepresentation of the boys' relationship. You have them down to a W lol. I love the banter, your Dean humor is spot-on. Creepy phone call...is this whole town just some funky creature's plaything? I mean, I used to play with dolls when I was young but this is ridiculous haha. I hate the fact that no one is reviewing. It would seem a lot of well written stories go by unnoticed a lot of the time...but no worries there are still some of us out there enjoying the crap out of this twisted tale. When I first clicked on this, I thought it might have been the crossroads demon, but I'm glad it turned out to be Madison. A banner catches my eye, and I can't stop staring. Dean...skin... When I look to see who the author is, imagine my surprise to find it was you! I couldn't believe I hadn't caught your newest story...that's the last time I take this long of a break away. Fave line: "Won first game, delib-eraliberly lost second to lure him in." Sam sounds like me when I've poured a few back...I can't say them big words either. And maybe it's because I'm tired, but when you had Sam upset, I started to get upset. Well, I'm glad I was able to catch up to this before your final chapter.
