This is the most touching story.  So perfect in so few, but meaningful words. It also perfectly illuminates how Dean does view himself just like he said in AHBL. How he wanted his life to have meaning and purpose, and he always found that thru Sammy.

I absolutely love this story. Thank you, Angel.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Angel!  In retrospect, it does kind of fit quite well with AHBL, which is a testament to how well SN's writers have maintained Dean's fundamental character throughout the season.

As you can probably tell, I was quite angsty and emotional myself when I wrote that one!
