Date: 07/05/11 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 I read it as soon I got the alert. Awesome chapter, but Imma little scared for Sam. Do you think some demon like Azazel might come after little Sammy again? Poor baby but at least this time Dean and Bobby know how to protect the baby. And I love the part when Dean missed Sammy and told Bobby, "Haven't seen him all the day". Awww...and baby Sam was waiting for his papa.....how cute!! Love this chapter, truly heartwarming story. I love a baby Sammy. I was very upset when in the last episode Dean told castiel that you are like a brother to me. How could he say that! How could he?? But after reading your story, I'm feeling much better. Love you, Bon :)) Author's Response: Love you and thanks Bon, It will be a little bit angsty in the next chapter. I'm glad you feel better now. I was a little bit shocked too, because I expected more something like Dean saying Cas was his friend, but I think for effect it was necessary to show how close he really feels to Cas. And I'm very very veeery sorry for the late review. My final master degree result was out and yay.. I scored :D :D I was a little busy with this result thing and other stuff. Finally... I'm kinda free so I can enjoy our boys and your stories without much interruption. You still haven't told me the secret behind your penname. What's it? You also seem too busy with your work. Yes, apparently Rufus was Jewish - at the end of the episode when they were standing at the grave, Bobby mentions that Rufus had pulled the 'can't work on the Sabbath' card a few times when they had to bury a body. The secret behind my penname....well, I'm not Jewish, so it doesn't mean that, even though the Mizpah prayer is sometimes thought to be Jewish. It's a family thing. Way back in the late 1890's, my great-grandfather gave a brooch to the girl he was courting, and who he eventually married. It was in the shape of a cross, with the Mizpah prayer engraved on it - "The Lord watch between Me and Thee, when we are absent one from another." I inherited that brooch when I was sixteen, and wore it pinned to my wedding dress when I got married. My great-grandfather also named one of his sailing boats Mizpah. He was a cabinetmaker by trade, and worked from home in his own business. So when I started my bookkeeping business, I registered under the trading name Mizpah Bookkeeping, and my business cards had the black Admiralty anchor design that my great-grandfather had on the mainsail of his skiff. So there you go. Mystery solved. And yes, I have been extremely busy at work, doing long hours and coming home so tired that some nights I don't even turn the laptop on, but have dinner and go to bed early. Missed you and your stories so much :) You know, I just finished watching Defending your life and was recalling the line where Sam told Dean he kinda felt good. Poor Dean, watching Sammy go like that, hurt and betrayed, just broke my heart. I don't like to see brothers get separated; I want them stay glued with each other. I like Dean's POV, awesome story as always. Hugs you, Ritu :)) Author's Response: Yay for being back! Unfortunately the muse has fled again, as I've got bucketloads of house stuff to do over the next few weekends, but hopefully she'll come slinking back before Christmas. Thank you, hun. I just wanted to really get inside Dean's head for a moment, and thought that he'd be brutally honest with himself while he was all alone and with no one to keep up the front for. And he's taken an awful lot of hits over the past few years - surely that has to wear him down eventually. And they are, as we can see by the drinking and depressive behaviour. I don't like to see the brothers separated either - bad things usually happen when they do. You know what, you should have been the writer of the series *sigh* you already know what I think about the show now, about brothers, about Dean.... but after reading this story, I feel sympathetic to them.
