Date: 22/05/07 Title: Chapter 1: Twenty Questions There is some serious ouch there. Lovely snapshot, though. I had noticed that Sammy is ALWAYS asking Dean questions. I feel sorry for the older brother, yet can understand the younger one. It is an excellent example of characterisation by the writers. In this fic, you run over some very painful moments, but you can see the love between the lines. Dean's devotion. Sam's devotion. Dean has walked a tightrope all his life between his father and his brother. It has made him what he is today. It has it's good sides and it's bad sides, but ultimately it will likely send him off the side of a cliff...well, having seen the season finale, I think it may already have. Anyway, I'm babbling. I was so excited to see a new Irismay fic and I'm so hoping you're going to have some more in the new virtual season. (already read the sequel to 'Graven Images' , need to read it again :D) I really look forward to your fics and haven't sent you a quarter of the feedback I owe you. ::totally fangirls 'Let Go' and 'graven Images' having read them many, many times over...though particularly 'Let go' cos it is a favourite:: Apologies for my neglect.  Date: 31/03/08 Title: Chapter 8: Benediction Far out! This story knocked my socks off. Here I was seeking to get back into SPN fanfic and it suddenly occurred to me that I had the perfect author to go and enjoy. So I wanders over to see what you've been writing, you prolific person you, and what do I find but this wonderfully long, plot filled, exciting story. You guys have done a fantastic job :D I enjoyed it from end to end and mourned it when I ran out of fic. Thanks so much for writing this. Date: 31/03/08 Title: Chapter 8: Benediction Oh, crap, it is me again. I forgot to mention the bit I was amazed by most. I loved the concept of an evil angel. For all of SPN's discussion of Hell, they've made little reference to its opposing force and I thought you did great with your fallen one. That and I also loved the way you put the story together with all the victims linked and our boys failing just about every time. It's good to see the plot difficult and not so easy to solve...not that they don't have that happen quite often, but I felt this story had a particular difficulty for them. And so it should - how the hell do you euthanise an angel? So thanks for the ride and sorry I did this in two parts - it's been a couple days since I read it and this is the first quiet moment I've had to write a review. Oh, and I nearly forgot the video! Great stuff, Sojourner. I loved how you put together scenes that had just enough info to illustrate the story, but not distract by referring to the actual series and I loved the scenes you constructed from outside the show. Excellent work! And now I must go...the quiet moment has ended ::sigh:: Nutty Author's Response: Thanks for that -- we talked a lot about that when we plotted the story. We really wanted to try for a unique spin to the standard baddie. And the victims being tied together took some planning via notecards and bulletin boards. Hee. Virtually, of course. Wasn't SJ's vid AWESOME! I listened to "Evil Angel" over and over while writing this fic. Just so you know, Mysti at zines@agentswithstyle.com is going to be printing this story in a zine. Date: 31/03/08 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Wow, this one came across as clear as a bell. I could see that haunted house on the hill, the town taken by time and the characters were highly developed. I particularly liked Kelly - finally someone that Sam has to look up too :D And yes, can you tell I've been going through your stuff? :D It's always great to have an author I know writes exactly what I love to read and have a backlog of stuff just waiting for me :D Thanks heaps for writing and sharing.
