i came across this story by chance. i wanted to read it no matter what it was about bc i am currently posting my first story that has a similar title. it was so good. i loved it at first bc it was in sam's pov and i rarely ever find that!! it was so heartbreaking, but that is part of why it was good.

kudos with winging too. this was just really great!

ok, so this is the third story of yours i've read tonight and the third one that makes me think 'aww'. i really liked this. i usually don't seek out stories that involve john all that much, so when i come across them it's a treat. and poor dean, stared with the 'hard' facade of "i'm fine" at 9 yrs old. it was twistedly sweet at how proud he was of himself.

oh, i loved this!! of course dean would be looking out for sam even at college. if only those two could be perfectly honest with each other.

i just want to say that i loved this story! i got a little scared at the end bc i thought it was gonna end up the whole thing was a dream. i'm so glad it wasn't. i am going to read the sequel of course, but i have to wait til it's finished. i hate being left hanging. anyway, great job!

gah... i so enjoy dean's reflections and thoughts. i know i already said that in another review, but hey, it's true. :D

wow. this story had me hooked from the beginning. i've had it saved on my bookmarks for awhile but i was trying to wait for the sequel to be finished bc i hate the tortuous wait for updates once i've started reading. however, this story seemed so interesting that i couldn't wait any longer.

i loved the mental illness aspect of it. i was so into it once i started reading that i didn't even allow myself to comment on each chapter - sorry, but it was just that good. 

it was so heartbreaking to see sam have to deal with dean not knowing who he was and wanting to hurt him. and, when dean had lucid moments it was horrible to see him struggle with his memories and knowing he was losing his mind. 

now, poor sam is in trouble... i can't wait to start reading the sequel. i plan to start it later today. 

thank you for writing such a compelling story... i will soon be making my way thru your other stories, so you can expect more reviews from me!!

i liked it! and had i not already known it was ellen, i would've been surprised.

 this part: "Ellen insisted on taking Jo home, she would deal with her daughter's body and didn’t want anyone else there. Dean understood, when they burnt John’s body, it had been just him and Sam, his family. No one else had a right to be there, because no one had known John the way his boys had and Ellen was doing the same, for no one had known Joanna-Beth Harvelle like her mother."

i so almost cried, and i don't cry easy when reading stories.

ooh, i really like this. it's all that is dean winchester without using a lot of words. it reads kind of like a poem but not really - i liked that about it. good job!
