I liked the choice of supernatural creature and you were right about the gore, but it fit with the story. Loved the brothers scene in the bar and how you wrapped the story up. Date: 06/01/10 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 I'm not sure why I read this chapter again, as I read it on the other site and it frustrated me there too. I know you like to create emotional responses with your stories, especially cliffhangers, so good job, you have made me mad while reading this one. I keep thinking things will get better, but instead they are only worse. I hate Joe, he has chose to murder Dean. I love Dean and Sam (supernatural fan, makes sense) but I'm so mad at Dean for giving up and letting Joe kill him. Where is the Dean Winchester we all know? Dean isn't even trying to fight to stay alive for his brother. Sam is suppose to be saving Dean, but is not doing a very good job and who is the mummy? If Dean is already dead, than how can Sam save him? Sorry, I shouldn't have read this chapter again, but thought I missed something the first time around. But no, it still made me mad (and I don't like being upset with the brothers.) You are a very talented author and I enjoyed reading many of your earlier stories again over Christmas break. I have to say, still love the line about Bobby's hats. I could just imagine Dean's expression when he saw Sam in the wheelchair and Sam feeling helpless not understanding why Dean was suddenly ill. Love how you wrote a worried John while he searched for Dean and than when he found his son. Nice touch with the spirit visiting John in the hospital chapel. Love how you ended this chapter. I feel so sorry for Dean, his secret is being revealed. Sam's upset for not being told his brother almost died and Bobby torn between his 'sons'. Thanks again and I'll look for the next update.

We also got a hurt Dean, worried Sam and a big brother who was not out of practice and knew Sam was lying about the hunt. But Dean also trusted his little brother to finish it, he just wanted to be there to watch Sam's back. Though I can't imagine Dean trying to get the tape off his ribs, that is going to hurt.
