I don't normally like the first person viewpoint but it really worked here. I thought you did a great job with each personality and the mannerisms of each Winchester. Loved the little touches that still kept us guessing, like Sam touching his wrist. Could have gone either way. Also loved the bearded "reporter" reaching for an absent ball cap. I couldn't shake the idea that the patient was Sam. And I only caught one clue - the shape of the face. I'm going to have to be more careful when I read your work. I loved this and thought you did an awesome job. :D Aha! You're Diane. Hello again. I'm glad that you got my message. Date: 08/12/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 I am so glad that you decided to post this. It's wonderfully written. You do a great job with their voices and I loved how you kept us guessing which brother was injured. I kept switching back and forth between the two. I'm actually pleased when someone writes about Sam taking care of Dean. Not enough equality out there so thanks for this. Loved this! :D Thank you for that. Anyone who knows me knows that I've been a fan of Agatha Christie since I was barely into my teens, so I like to give her a nod and throw a bit of a twist into my stories when I can. But as I said to Kiara, there were little hints - Sam rubbing at his right wrist when he was thinking about the crazed hunter Gordon being in jail (his wrist was still broken in Hunted) and getting into sweatpants and tee shirt after his shower (Sam's usual night attire). As for the equality thing, I suppose it's because we see so much - especially in the first two seasons, of Dean always being Sam's protector, and not really letting Sam get in too much harm's way if he can help it. And with poor Sam being the target for every supernatural thing going, Dean didn't have an easy job. But they were raised as hunters, trained together, so I'm of the firm opinion that even though he's the little brother, Sam is just as capable of taking care of Dean when it comes to crunch time. I like to bring out that side of Sam when I can.....Jules Summary:

I am a fan of John (though didn't always agree with how he treated our boys) so it's great to read a story with him. To be honest I cycled through all three of them as the digger. Really nice surprise that Sam had been buried as well. I like the way you keep us on our toes. Can't wait for the next story! Aww, thank you, Diane, it's good to be back. Real life's been a bit crazy lately, but hopefully it will settle down into a steady routine soon. Oh, I'm really pleased that John's desperation and near-panic came through. This is the first time I've actually tackled John in a fic - I'm not a fan of his, sad to say, even though I think JDM's super hot and a great actor, and a perfect choice for daddy Winchester. But within my inner circle are two staunch John fans, Ziggy and Cookie6, and I rely heavily on them to help me dig into John's psyche to see what motivated the man. Having said that, the idea to write it from John's point of view was purely a spur of the moment - "let's see if I can actually pull this off" sort of thing. Petra almost couldn't believe it when she got to the reveal and found I'd written a John story - LOL. Ah, my evil little plan caught you, too, eh? I'm very happy about that. And happy that you enjoyed it and was kept guessing until the moment when the boys were uncovered. As for the next story, well, fingers crossed - it's almost ready for posting.
