Your stories are somehow awesomely suspenseful, yet light-hearted, touching, and funny. You've sort of got it all rolled up into one package. I wish you had more of them to share... :) Summary: Dean is totally into Zombie hunts right? This one goes a little astray. A surprise present for Merisha on her birthday. Date: 31/10/08 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Oh holy sweet Jesus! You are the master of suspense! Nail-biting while reading is a dangerous activity, I'll have you know. I should send you the bill for my next manicure! lol. Awesome! Amazing! Engaging! This is exactly how I picture Dean as a dad. The torture is so horrible, their bravery in the face of it so hear-breaking! And now I cry, give me more! (More story, not neceesarily more torture) Author's Response: Sorry to say there is more torture to come. Hopefull there is enough story to make it all worth while. As I said in my review reply below, though, torture was the theme of this story. I have to follow through with my planned story. You are easily one on my favorite new writers here so to have this review from you makes me very happy, indeed. I am gratefull for the time and effort you put into reading and reviewing my story. Do you talk on the cw chat boards? I thought I saw your name...if it was you, it was a pleasure to read your posts. Date: 11/11/08 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Holy rusted metal Batman! I thought I had got myself caught up on the Ben Braeden backstory in your verse, but I so totally missed a series in between where you establish the whole mythology thing. Now I've gone and spoiled myself! (Not soiled myself -- let's not get them confused). Awesome chapter, though. Sam would just be so freaking scary if he ever gave in to the darkside, unleashed his big bad demon abilities in rage like that -- and I love how you have him recoil from it almost immediately afterward when he realizes what he's done. Awesome! Author's Response: I am so sorry that you got spoiled. I'm guessing that you missed "Choices." I'd kind of wondered but I figured you got busy or didn't like it. I think Sam has great potential as an evil character...I doubt the show's gumption to go through with it. Of course I doubted for a long time that they'd actually send Dean to hell when that was the proper story development choice. Thanks for the review. Date: 01/12/08 Title: Chapter 1: ONE The same could not be said of her husband, though. Mr. Sharp was just over fifty with thin, mouse brown hair pulled back into a middle length pony tail that accented his sagging face. Said face sported overly moist, goggling eyes and a melancholy, slightly helpless expression. He was wearing Moby-type glasses, slacks and, strung over a gut about as flabby as his face; a beige hemp shirt. Looking at him, Dean could just smell the steam cooked soy meat, stewing away happily to the dulcet tones of Kenny G. Ok, this paragraph actually had me laughing out loud for a good two minutes. Date: 01/11/08 Title: Chapter 1: Poking a Bear With a Stick This story is just awesome! I have been reading it, completely engrossed! The flashbacks to the hunt are so well done, and so are the 2005 scenes with Sam and Dean. This is really engaging and has the characters down, especially Dean. I LOVE how you've portrayed Dean's stuck-in-the-middle plight, as well as John's gruff, stubbornness. Can't wait for more!

This so reminds me of his tirade at Sam: "None of this would have happened if you'd shot that damned thing when you had the chance!" Doesn't he realize the damage he does to his kids when he throws accusations at them like that, laying the blame for things beyond their control at their feet?!? Awesome chapter.
