Date: 25/02/07 Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15 This was such a good update! To think that Sam and John were so close to Dean just irks me! Especially when Marci rubs it in their faces! She is definitely creepy by the way. I really hope that John and Sam find Dean fast, but I also know it cannot just be that easy! I am glad that everything is getting better for you and I cannot wait until the next update!

Date: 02/03/07 Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 16 First, I really hope everything goes okay with your grandfather. I certainly will be keeping you and your family in my prayers. Now, on to the story... Yay! Dean was able to overtake Mellie! Woo-hoo!!! And Sam knows where Dean may be...Woo-hoo! Okay, that was scary that Sam "died" for three minutes. I can only imagine the terror that John was feeling at that moment. But at least they are now getting closer to Dean. And Dean has managed to get out of the room, but how far will he get? Date: 06/03/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 This is one of the funniest stories that I have ever read! I always thought that cats were evil, and Laura, you have now proven that to me! Imagine, the Winchester brothers brought down by a cat! Poor Sam...the boy never listens. Damn that innocence! Thank you for this, Laura! Summary:
1876 "God made all Men, Samuel Colt made them equal." The West was inundated with vampires. It was the perfect place to kill and slaughter, cowboys died every day and no one really seemed to care, most were too concerned with staying alive themselves. Date: 14/02/07 Title: Chapter 18: Chapter 18 - Gunfight That fight scene was utterly AMAZING! I knew my guys could handle them, not to mention their ladies! So Carpenter is dead, but I know we haven't seen the last of Lila. I am trying to get myself over to the next chapter, since you said something evil is going to happen there. Come on, Stephanie...deep breath! Oh, and I loved when Jake and Deke were kissing their women. Poor Scotty...I was just picturing him doing anything to avoid having to watch that! Author's Response: Yeah, poor Scotty, but I bet like Deke he is happy they found some happiness! Right? I have always loved westerns, grew up watching the TV show reruns and then all the western movies. It was great fun to put the Winchesters in my own little western. Date: 14/02/07 Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 19 - Final Conflict I hate that Elkins had to die, but if I am going to be honest with you I really thought that one of the Winchesters were going to die. Seriously, you had me with Deke's "death"--I was about to come through this computer and hurt you! But then I told myself to read on and I took back my threat. I really love how you have connected this story to "Dead Man's Blood." It makes sense now especially when Kate gets the gun from Elkins and tells Luther it was from when he was growing up. Scott and his vision at the end...brilliant, absolutely brilliant! I hate that we don't get to read anymore about our favorite cowpokes...I have really enjoyed them in this time period. (Oh, and I still have my number for Scott...he deserves a little fun, too!) Update soon! Author's Response: I too hated killing Elkins but thought it was realistic that someone on the good side would die and I could never kill a Winchester! It also helped explain how hunters come to be with Davy taking up arms. Watching DMB I knew I had to explore the old west origins of the gun and throwing Luther into the mix seemed perfect, of course he had to be away cause he never recognizes the Winchesters. I loved showing the similarities between the generations so of course Scott had to have the visions just like Sam. Maybe someday I'll get inspired and revisit the early Winchesters. I do miss them terribly. Thanks again. You are a real sweetheart to review on every chapter and I love it. Yes, I did give Scott your number, but unfortunately telephones weren't invented yet. Date: 28/01/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - The Stranger I really like how this is starting. This hunter really intrigues me! I worried that the start wouldn't hook the reader so I am pleased you liked it. I wanted to maintain some mystery. Funny but on another site I got the review that they didn't understand why this story was under Supernatural! They wanted to know where the Winchesters were! LOL

Glad to know that Jake isn't dead and the Winchester ancestors have a plan to wipe out the vamps. I think the saying "Not everything is as it seems" defines the Winchesters. Makes me wonder what they are going to stumble across now that they are in Valentine. Oh, and Dean riding a horse is a very good visual in my head...kind of funny, actually! Date: 02/02/07 Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 - Fracas Deke certainly knows how to hold his own in a fight. It's too bad the angry cowboy had friends though...it never is a fair fight when you bring your friends in. I wish I could say that was the only difficulty Deke runs into in this story but.... Of course, as a Winchester they always manage to persevere.

Date: 19/02/07 Title: Chapter 21: Chapter 21 - Resolution 2006 Where do I start? You know I have been your biggest fan of this story from the beginning. And you have not disappointed me one bit. This was such a wonderful story I may just have to read it again! So Valentine was a vanishing town, eh? But I like that...I love how they got to talk to Jake and the momentos that he left for Sam and Dean. And the two additional bullets...absolutely clever! Makes me wonder if something like that could actually happen on the show. After all, we have no idea what happened to those "lost" bullets. I would love for Sam and Dean to come back in ten years to learn more. I really do hope that you right another AU story with the boys. I immensely enjoyed this one and I was happy every time I saw an update. Kudos on a brilliant job and such a wonderful story! Stephanie P.S. Of course I wanted Dean to live by whatever means!) because I too thought it would be interesting to explore where the rest of the bullets were and the history of the colt. I loved them seeing Jake and being confused by what was really happening here, how and why it happened. Maybe someday I will write a follow up story. I do love my westerns!
