I thought it'd be kind of neat and different to do a flashback to something that we know actually happened. Plus, the fight scene in Skin is awesome, and describing it was a challenge. All I did was add my own interpretation to it. Sam knew Dean was struggling with Dad's death, but I don't think he saw his brother as dangerously out of control until then. Sue Summary:

Limp Sam, looked after by his caring big brother Dean, in an alphabetrocity One-shot!
This was conceived after the elation of a viewing of Ten Inch Hero (at long last) on the tube back from Richmond/Kingston. The film was awesome! A big Thank you to Cassie for arranging it. In searching for story prompts we (Birdie, Janger and Alena) decided to pick an unrelated word for each letter of the alphabet, then decided to create a story from these words. This is the result. Originally they were put forward as individual drabble prompts but we decided to turn them into one big slightly insane story. We left in the wake of our proposed plotlines a carriage full of totally bemused commuters and a taxi driver who was reaching for the emergency restraints!

I think Dean stopped just short of punching Sam, knowing that it was just the overwhelming grief that made Sam run off. Date: 28/11/08 Title: Chapter 6: Epilogue Awww first i gotta say i feel honoured you made it uber chick flicky for me. i loved it alot that bit. for the whole story. what i could only do in under 10000 words you managed to do in 3 times that. i've loved reading this and it has been a highlight for my weeks even if it means making the days i work come faster upon imminent destruction of my weekends. there was so much emotion in this! i love it i love it i love it (i sound like a bad movie producer :) ). i thought the blow up would have come much sooner many times but my dear you are one of suspense. CLAP CLAP FOR THE AUTHOR CHICK ;) kiara hope your fingers are better! Author's Response: LOL, thanks Kiara. I sort of felt that the final blow-up would be the turning point for Sam to decide to hit the road with Dean and go find their father. So the whole week was building slowly and steadily towards Sam's break-down. He had to hit rock-bottom, I think, before he would give in. So the whole story was really heading towards that bathroom scene, and Sam's transformation back into a hunter. I'm stoked that you enjoyed it so much.
