Date: 14/07/09 Title: Chapter 1: Prologue: Blood Ritual Whoah the images!!! so awesome!!! (I suck at reviewing so bare with me here, lol) Okay, now I want Dean to come already, too!!! LOL oh and Asher has a sis!? hmmm, interesting... anyways...just wanted to let you know that I LOVE THE IMAGES you created here...the blood, the pain, the 'leave me alone you b*tch or else', the cry for Dean to help....., the gore, the meanie...haha.....so cool! you know what!? I need the second chapter, so I'll stop talking here and off to the 2nd chapter! Author's Response: Thanks Spela. I've been nervous about your review. I knew you'd be nice but knowing you're not a romance type person had me a little nervous. I had hoped you'd concentrate on the writing. So glad that you liked the imagery. And as for meanie, I always thought women could be more vicious than men. Date: 14/07/09 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 1: A Fated Reunion He could smell him--- soap, leather and the tang of his aftershave. damn now I want to smell Dean for real, I mean we all have the same thoughts about how he would/does smell...:) awww when Dean thinks about Sam's childhood...awww... oh so Dean knew Asher from before!? With more strength than he would have believed necessary he extricated his finger from the baby. She leaned toward him, arms wide, not wanting to let go of her new friend. and Dean is sooo awesome with kids...when you wrote that I just went awww, so adorable!!! I could see the baby's fingers wrapped around Dean's finger! Author's Response: I'm delighted that you're enjoying this! Yeah...*inhales deeply* Ahhhh! Dean... I think the fragrances surrounding him would be simple, down-to-earth scents. Nothing fancy or fru-fru. As for Sam's childhood: dean did the best he could but I think, like any parent, he has regrets and wishes he would have done more. Yep, Dean and Asher...old time romance. We'll find out about that in a later story (Insanity, not yet written). I hate when people meet for the first time and suddenly have this soul-mate connection. Pure crap! And Dean has enough whirl-wind rondezvous without adding her to his list. A romance is more than sex, it's giving of yourself in all aspects of your person. Yeah, babies. Can you believe how strong those little duffers are? Anyway, I loved how Dean was in DITW with Lucas. That was a wonderful side of the hunter we don't often get to see. Date: 14/07/09 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 2: The Family Secret Sam questioned, stepping forward to rap on the wooden screen door. "It’s a welcome mat, not a trap door." "Says you." ROFL! awh Dean...ahahhaha :)) I loved how you described Sam's 'I feel your pain' look and how he shifts his voice when talking to victims... and Sam is right...how many women has Dean told their family secret!? gosh....when I found out that Cassie knew I was like WTH?! I would slap dean then if I could! :) anyways....I'm not sure if I like Asher yet or not! LOL....but this is only chapter 3 so...:))) I love your writing style...love the descriptions! Author's Response: The whole scene on the front porch was one I couldn't get out of my head. I'm glad you liked it! I think Dean's hunters instinct can tell a trap when it's near one. Even one as benign as a welcome mat. Sam---very hard to express the nuances of him when he's talking to potential victims. He just shifts into Mr. Sympathetic. So happy I seemed to do it justice! Dean telling Asher their secret: I wasn't sure about this part. To me this is just the most vulnerable he can be because not only does he open himself up for rejection but he's jeopardizing the welfare of his family members as well. And remember, Dean was only nineteen when he spilled his guts. I'm happy that you like my writing! If you don't like Asher, well, writing a woman for Dean is a difficult balance. Sometimes she's soft and trusting, sometimes she's tough and daring. Thanks for giving her a chance.

"‘You’re way out of my brother’s league.’ " That hurt...! ouch! but yeah Sam would never say them...he would think them, but never say them and pity...pity is worse! and when the baby monitor went off and Asher said that she was being paged...LMAO!!
Author's Response: Hee! I thought that was the perfect time to throw Dean's words back in his face. Sam doesn't have to say anything (and wouldn't) to hurt his brother. But Dean would imagine the worst. Baby monitor...I swear when Ciara was born I didn't get to eat a hot meal for two weeks. It's one of those situations where real life is funnier than fiction. Thanks again for the review! And wow! reading it all at once.

Author's Response: Almost made you cry...yay! That's a fabulous comment! When it comes right down to it all the brothers really want for one another is happiness. And their ideas of happiness for each other are also those things they long for (either openly or secretly). Sam was blessed with happiness in the form of Jessica but lost her. I'm certain he doesn't want Dean to miss out on the joys he could experience with Asher. I think if given the right circumstances, Dean would love fiercely and faithfully. He's shown that in his loyalty to his family. A young dean Winchester would be a whirlwind of conflict and strong emotion.

Date: 14/07/09 Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 8 Unnatural As older siblings they shared a unique connection. They both had assumed the roles of nurturer, protector, healer for their respective families. They had to pave the way, clear the path for their siblings, make their lives easier in whatever way they could. It was their charge to attend to the needs and desires of the younger. Not a responsibility, but a birthright. And as their eyes met over the shrieking baby, over the unconscious young man, they shared an unspoken understanding, divided their inheritance between them. this made me cry! because I don't have that...there is no one to do that for me! :( I have to do everything by myself and this just....this paragraph just made me really sad, :( but you wrote it beautifuly!!! and what did you do to Dean!? you're mean! and I love how Asher decided to help Sam....but I think that if her sis wouldn't be in Dean's arms, she would've opted for her sis and I wonder what that would do to her relationship with Dean and aren't I mean!? LOL off to the next chapter! Author's Response: The role of only child is a lonely life. My older daughter had to trudge that road for 13 years before Ari came along. I completely understand why Dean feels responsible for his family, especially Sam. I'm the oldest in my family so we have that kinship. Fortunately, Asher didn't have to choose between Sam and Allie. But remember, Allie is the one who will be sacrificed. Sam just has a bump on his noggin. Thanks for playing devil's advocate!

If she died! :P no, seriously.....I'm liking this story, and you know how not fine I am with the idea of a girl with Sam and Dean...:) so...yeah...I'm really liking this story and I'm glad that Dean and Sam rescued Asher and now I need to read the next chapter so...*runs off* Author's Response: Died?! You really do hate anyone coming between Sam and Dean. Well, what if Jess would have lived? Hmmmm? Well, wouldn’t that just amp up her sexual appeal? Nothing turned a guy on more than holding the pan a girl was puking her guts into. She groaned and let her head sink further into the pillow. Date: 14/07/09 Title: Chapter 13: Chapter 12: Are We There Yet? awwwww this chapter was bitter sweet and I liked it!!! "Gone! Panic flooded her as tears spilled from her eyes. If she ran maybe she could catch them. Maybe she could go with them. Take care of them. She didn’t want to be without him. How could she go back to breathing the air without his scent? How could she walk through this dull, heavy atmosphere?" I know this feeling, I can relate to what she's feeling and it hurts sooo bad and then you wrote that Sam and Jess line and awwww, god my heart just....so sad! Sam will never get Jess back, but Dean has a shot with Asher! just so sad! I love your writing style even more now!!! love it!!! okay, I need to go to sleep now and like stop crying!!! :) S. Date: 18/07/09 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1- If I lost you "I love it when you call me Sammy." damn right he does....you know..in Bloodlust I just love that He's the only one who gets to call me that.....:)) Dean stood up and hugged Sam "It's gonna be just fine, you hear me?" Dean fought his tears as he felt Sam's nod against his shoulder. It was like Sam was a kid again, scared of the dark and in desperate need of protecting by his big brother. awwwwwwwwwww This was a sad and a fun story to read! the whole: he ain't heavy, he's my brother thing....gosh.... there are so many things I loved in this little fic that I don't know where to start, so I'll just say I loved it all! Author's Response: omg this is one of my oldest stories, I'm really glad you stopped by to remind me of it. Thank you so much for mentioning the parts you liked, I know, I tend to write sad stories a lot and I don't actually know why. lol I love that only Dean gets to call Sam Sammy too, it's another way of displaying their affection for each other. Sam would never allow anyone else to call him that because nicknames develop out of feelings. It can signify love, friendship, a bond that no one from the outside can understand.
