Ice cream is the BIG LIE. I didn't want to eat ANYTHING, much less ice cream. I was also 7. Dean's much tougher.

Date: 20/02/09 Title: Chapter 5: Epilogue Wonderful story. I loved the set up with the ghost at the beginning, making it a very interesting hunt from the start. I loved the aftermath and all of Sam's confusion. I loved that they got to say all the things that I wished they would say to each other. Thank you - I wish we'd get to see a few more of those quieter moments on screen- but then again, it gives we writers some lovely material to work with, so I suppose I should be careful what I wish for - lol. Thanks for reading, and reviewing. I figured that Sam's mind would definitely be chewing over what Dean had revealed, so it made sense for it to rewind back to the worst time of his life after that bonk on the head. Date: 12/03/09 Title: Chapter 3: Only For A Moment, And The Moment's Gone I love it that they have their own junked car as a hangout. Nice detail. I also really like the story of the shapeshifter. Maybe you need to expand on that in another story someday! I'm glad that Sam was finally able to get through to Dean a little bit. At least bridge the gap partway. Good chapter! Soon as that image came to me I loved it - them sitting in a beat up, rusty old muscle car, kindof the antithesis of the Impala. And it just clicked as a place to bridge the gap, somewhere so much like their 'home'. I might play with the shapeshifter a little - hadn't really thought about it, but I might. Date: 05/04/09 Title: Chapter 1: So That You Might Save Me Very tense chapter! Seizures are so not good! I'm very worried about what's going on with Dean now. I was struck particularly by the seizure Dean had when Sam brought him into the ER. Sam and the doctor holding Dean down- the imagery was really good. I'm also glad Dean finally told Sam what happened. Keep up the good work! Author's Response: Oh it's not good. Not good at all... That scene in the ER is actually one I've had hanging around or a while in a fic thaat stalled. I liked it and it fit so I cannibalised the original story! Glad you liked it, and Dean telling Sam what he had to do. That was a difficult scene to write. More next week! Cal

Date: 15/04/09 Title: Chapter 6: We're Just A Wish Away You managed to have some great moments here for both of the boys. It was definitely some very intense reading. I can identify with Dean very much because I can't STAND being cold, and am right now wearing a big fleece jacket OVER my sweater. I couldn't imagine a worse fate, so reading about him shivering is just awful. I LOVE the nurse! She's got just the right combination of common sense, patience, motherliness, and compassion to make me very glad she's looking after those boys. Author's Response: thanks hun! Marie wasa fun character to write - she and Tom may be making repeat appearances, I think, later in the series. See how that one goes... Date: 02/05/09 Title: Chapter 7: Driving The Nail Ooo! Answers! I love the Voudoun twist-or at least the Voudoun flavor. It makes the little details you threw in about the spell very rich. I really really hope it works! Sam's kind of spacing out and I want him to go faster and get things done in time! Well, a few answers. Sorta. Can't give the game away just yet... I've always loved the impact of Voudoun in stories, and wanted to write one for a while so when this came up as a possibility for the spell, I was very happy! It's a lot of fun to write, so I hope you enjoy reading what's coming up as much as I did! (I have a sneaking suspicion you might just... ;) ) Thanks hun!

Date: 24/05/09 Title: Chapter 8: These Gods Aren't Faking Heh, if your spell was anything like the big voudon ritual one of my friends went to, they needed to spit more rum. WHAT has Sam done? The Loa gave him an out, and clearly warned him there would be consequences, and THEN Dean is screaming? I have a BAD FEELING about this! I loved your use of the voudon ritual, and the Cajun accent. It really does evoke some strong images and feelings. I love it that the doctor got to witness the whole thing- talk about a major freak out! Hee Hee! Now we just have to worry about the consequences. There are ALWAYS consequences..... Author's Response: Well I thought about rum spitting, but I just couldn't seem to write it without dissolving into fits of giggles... (and seeing that scene from Lazarus Rising. heehee) But yeah, nothing's ever simple for the boys. It's just more twisted fun that way! Clearly things aren't all right- I can't wait to find out what other consquences Sam's meddling has had. And Dean's voice- aww...I want everything to be right again! :) This new hunt is interesting-I definitely want to know what it is they're up against!
