Well, actually, I did laugh, thank you very much.  And, I don't mind your self-deprecation as long as you don't mind me trying to make you feel better :).

I stormed through this so fast, that I can't believe its over so soon. 

Time for bed now, I was saving this as my bedtime treat...less caloric than ice cream. 

Ah, your first story.  And what a good one it was, you couldn't tell that this was the beginning for you.  Awesome work.

I'd like to say that this is my favorite Terry story, but "Chipping Away" will always hold a special place in my heart. 

However, if it wasn't for "Chipping" this one would be it...but everything you do is just amazing.  Yes, I mean that.

I always thought you were incredibly brave to do this story.  It's such a delicate issue and you handled it with grace, well, at least as much at the boys would let you;).  Awesome work!

Bravo, guys, that was spectacular!  Yes, I did try to read the box and was just as confused by the name as well as the plain paper bag. 

I not only like your explanation, but also the reason you provide for why Sam never touches Dean the entire time they're in the hospital.  I mean, that's the only logical explanation I've heard as to why a brother wouldn't touch his dying brother...one I can understand better than the "hands-off because we're Winchesters" explanation.

I, too, would be afraid to touch a pale, dying sibling.  Good job!

Hee, hee, that's great.  I like what you added since I looked at it last.  I had flashes of your other Dean stories, though, when Barney started singing.

Hey girl!!!  Just leaving some cookies everywhere I go...you deserve them!  As GS said, it was masterful the way you wove canon into your own ideas and universe to come out the other side with more less the same result...only not.  I'm awed by it.  You are one clever girl.

And, man, you scared me there for a minute.  First, when I thought maybe Dean was dead.  Then again, when I thought the brothers were going their separate ways.  Whew!  What a relief when I figured out what you had done.  

Also, I was pleasantly surprised by Jess's entrance.  I'd forgotten that in your universe, she was still alive.  It took me a minute to remember why and how, lol.

Thanks for the ride and for allowing me to be a teeny tiny part in it.  Again, wished I could've done a better job, but I think you could teach me a few things rather than the other way around.

I can't wait to find out what Dean is afraid of, what he's hiding.  Knowing you, it'll be something brilliant that'll make me clap my forehead and say, "Why didn't I see that before?!"

Oh, I don't know about brilliant... Dean's fears are multilayered, though... even he doesn't always know what it is he's afraid of (IMO). Part of it is revealed in chapter 3, but there are more layers to peel before Dean's heart is revealed...

Masterful storytelling!  And, like I said before, very smart and endearing ending.  You did such a wonderful job with this, as you always do, but I think you keep topping yourself.  

What?  Topping yourself with what?  I DON'T want to know what it is you do when you write those delicious love scenes with Dean.  Actually, I meant that you only get better as you go along, lol.

Good luck with VS, I'll miss your WIPs, though.
