So well writted...such great insight into the scary place that is Dean's mind. Great job! Kate Author's Response: I was a bit angsty when I wrote this - and Dean's mind, as you say, is a pretty scary place to be when you get into angst mode! Summary: Sam and Dean stumble upon a lab creating genetically engineered people. Whose dire scheme have they uncovered? A completely silly one shot created as an antidote to too much angst and death fic.

Date: 17/03/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 I LOVED this! That was a very tense time, I remember it well. Love the Buffy characters being brought into it, and the whole Dark Angel bit. So cool. It'd be so awesome if Kripke would do this as a short skit or something just for special features or to air during a hiatus to tease the fans a little. I'd love to see J2 act this. They'd be bloody brilliant! Thanks for the laugh. Kate Author's Response: Ah yes - 'tense' would certainly be a good word to describe how I felt waiting for news of season 2!! Love the way you perfectly placed certain lines from IMTOD. It was wonderful. I read your summary, read 'Dean' and 'Angsty' and knew it would be my kind of fic! Date: 13/03/08 Title: Chapter 9: Epilogue Another brilliant piece of writing. Thanks for sharing, especially the epilogue because it was really moving. I am a huge fan of John and it was great to know that he did come to see his boys, even if he was too late. I've read too many fics where John is painted as a monster, but you manage to keep him in the right light. He's not perfect, because who is right, but he loves his boys and that much is obvious. I will admit that I've had my issues with John. He felt...familiar to me. I know I'm not the only one there.
