Eventually figured it all out, although I did have to go back in and edit it because I'd forgotten to tick the Completed box. So chuffed that you loved this. Oh, and thank you re the drabbles. Damned things are breeding like flies! I know people love them, but I just don't get them. Even the really good ones just leave me wanting to read the full story, not just a snippet. I got stuck in a few places, I have to say, and a few scenes had to be re-written a number of times before I was happy with them, but it was actually interesting getting inside Bobby's head. Scary, but interesting. I just think he's been such awesome support to the brothers at a time when they had no one else to turn to, and I can't help but feel that he just naturally slid into that parent role - perhaps without him being conscious of it at the time.
