God, I knew this chapter would be good but wasn't prepared at all for this (and yes, you added it just in time for a Sunday treat, thanks and BIG SMILE!!).

Thought about it all day and just can't stop.

Sight of the old devil's trap - I fully understand why Sam felt sick and then the mastiff, loved that. So, my head swirls and this will keep me occupied, thanks!!!

Author's Response: I was a little nevous quoting scripture in the first place, and on Easter Sunday of all days.  Glad it didn't offend anyone, and if it did, they didn't tell me.  Really glad you like the update!

I honestly don't mind at all this time about the cliffhanger, I think I really need some time to recover, this one was just awesome, felt like reading the doomsday book, wow!

Loved it! What a wonderful idea to have this point of view in here and give Dean the chance to see his mother again, he so deserved these special moments. Also he could see how much Sam cares for him. Mary told him very important things about the bond he shares with his little brother ("Sam needs you to keep him grounded." "You two are truly soulmates. He may be the one with powers, but you are the energy that feeds them." - these lines cover it completely!!). We all know what Dean's choice will be, no matter how hard this is and whatever the cost, but this makes him even more lovable!

Author's Response: Thanks Sabine!!  I don't know about you, but I find it hard to believe anything could possibly make Dean anymore lovable then he already is!!  He's like perfection in flesh, isn't he?  Ha ha...little tangent there.  Anyway, I truly believe that you can't have one without the other and that applies to the Winchesters too.  They are truly two halves of a whole and are incomplete without the other.  And yeah, everyone probably does know what Dean's choice will be, but hey...you never know when I may toss in a weird twist or two!!

Another nerve-racking one, but soo good! "He's crashing....!", this chilled me to the bone. Dean will pull through so, has to (not a death-fic, you promised)!

This chapter is so good, like unbelievable good! Great scenes, loved the one Sam waking up and desperately inquiring about Dean, and then Bobby telling him Dean never would stop trying to protect his little brother  - "It's because he loves you unconditionally Sam" - wonderful! And when Sam was at Dean's side, he wasn't the only one who started to cry. A shining one!!

Wow, I knew demons are using rather unfair practices but this one is reaching a new level of evil, she's horrible! Poor, poor Sam, this is so cruel and to see what she does to Dean to remind them of the consequences when they fail to find the bullet, very painful to watch and again very vivid I might add, giving me the creeps once more. And on top of everything else Bobby's surmise the pneumonia is more than just pneumonia. God, what a mess, but I LOVED it, even more as your're insinuating there still might be a couple of chapters to come, so great!!!

Loved every bit of this, the tension present all the time. Wonderful little talk Sam and Sophia had about family, great scene! Now everything seems to head for a major showdown, Bobby is on his way (and he better hurries), also the demon and Dean's test results are another threat, the die is cast you could say, can't wait for the next chapter!!

Perfect ending! This had so everything I hoped for and I enjoyed every moment of this story. There are so many scenes I will remember, can't thank you enough, you're the best Helen!!

Just loved the car scene at the end when Sam asked Dean if he recalls anything, very touching, tells a lot about these amazing brothers! Also, how cool is this, there is no divorce in hell (makes sense, I guess) and I'm still laughing when I picture poor Bobby trying to clean his house, a hopeless task.

Dean investigating the cages, I sure am looking forward to that.

Still, I'm not really comfortable with the sisters, they seem far too involved in this and in fact just too good to be true.

And what about Sam? Didn't mention his exam at the hospital.

Glad you're back and you're as good as ever! Very alarming and the 'Black Annis" description, more than scary. Oh, and no word about the sisters from me this time. I don't think this is Sam waiting for Dean on top of the trap and so what for Heaven's sake happened to Sam? I'm officially worried!
