Date: 09/03/07 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 9 Great chapter, Laura. Poor Sam - he has a long road ahead of him. I've got a cat, too. She's nearly 15, and bossy as all hell. It's awful when they get sick - they can't tell you what's wrong, and they just look at you with those swimming eyes, wanting you to make it better. Sort of like Sam, I suppose - he can't tell Dean what's wrong - just hopes big brother can fix it. Sweet that Dean stayed outside the bathroom. Looking forward to the next update. Date: 13/03/07 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 10 It's the second man! That's what Sam forgot! There were two of them in the house. Oh, flip! This has gone from intense to downright terrifying. Poor Sam! He's got a long way to go - and the rug has just been pulled out from under him by those photos. That was great! But what a cliffie!!!!! Now I don't know if Sam got shot as well or not! Whew. I didn't see that one coming - not with Redding. Forge - I had him picked for one of the baddies because he was acting like such a #$&^*% ! Good cop-bad cop just got completely turned on its head. But yay - our Psychic Wonder remembered that there were two of them! And it wasn't him doing it to himself! Great job, Bayre. You have an awesome talent - I'm so glad you are sharing this on the other forum - I have been telling friends about this story and getting them to come over here and read it. Date: 02/03/07 Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Really edge of seat stuff, this story. The brothers' distance from each other is so painful. You've captured that very well. I hope you update this soon - and save Dean. Love the use of the old Hollies song as the title. Author's Response: So happy you're enjoying the story so far. I'm glad you could feel their distance - they felt that way to me right after John died, so it's good to know that came across. Date: 09/03/07 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 Not offended, even though most everything is illegal in Queensland. Down south I think marijuana is legalised - in Victoria, I think. And used for health reasons. Wow - think I'm still breathing after that - (puts hand on heart to make sure...) I really appreciate the time and stupendous effort you put in to research this thing - don't know if I could have waded through that amount of detail. I would have sworn you had medical experience - at least fully trained nurse, or an ambo, perhaps. (ambulance officer). On to epilogue... Author's Response: Good to hear you weren't offended. I just couldn't ignore the fact that Ash would have some marijuana and that it could help Dean. As for the research - it's unbelievable to me what you can find online. I did talk to one doctor towards the very end, and called the local blood bank for information, but everything else I gathered online. And it was a lot of fun. So glad you appreciated it.
