And had to have a bit of a giggle over Sam being kicked out of the library because the old prune wants to go to lunch - LOL!   Date: 15/02/08 Title: Chapter 2: Electricity and Winchesters Don't Mix Ooh - wonder if it had something to do with the stun gun effect that Dean is now privy to Sam's visions. dun,dun,dunnnnn..... Taken out by a couple of teenage girls - *snicker* - poor Sammy... And I loved that thought of Dean's - about needing a hell of a lot more rock salt - priceless. Great work, hon - obviously the updated editing is working? Well, I liked it....*hugs* ....Jules Author's Response: Hahaha my favorite phrase...dun dun DUN... Yeah, poor boys. Date: 23/11/08 Title: Chapter 3: Going Nowhere Fast “I’d like to phone a friend,” I love that line. And huh! You're back! I may have to resort to poking you if you forget again. I was just thinking about this story last night, when I was scooting through trying to decide on nominations for the awards. And I wondered whether you'd get back to it. I'm glad you have, hon. So now the boys really do see the other side of the coin on the visions - Sam gets to see the fallout and why Dean looks so worried, and Dean gets to experience the pain and disorientation of the vision itself, so he now understands why Sam looks like death warmed over once the vision ends. And visions of Sam's death aside, all those ghosts combining into one humungous putrid cloud can't be good. Ooh - I have another installment to read...rubs hands together in glee...Jules

Date: 23/11/08 Title: Chapter 4: Forcing Puzzle Pieces to Fit Gone? Gone?!?!? Oh, crap....that's not good.... Poor Dean, he's really being hammered by these visions. And he really freaked when it looked like the main one was coming true. Heh - wonder what Miranda said to the cops to get them to chase off after her? Hope she won't get into too much trouble over it. So it is Tony who has united the spirits. But how the hell did his remains disappear? Did he do it? Or is there another player in the mix that the boys don't know about? Aww, and flipping John not ringing back all the time. No wonder the boys argue when his name comes up. Date: 06/09/10 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 A bang on the head! Oh, dear - Dean's memory needs re-booting. This is going to be a hoot. I started reading this ages ago, but I lost track of it somehow. Came across it in my travels the other week and made a mental note to get back to it. Amazingly, I remembered! Loved Sam's confusion at his blank-slate brother's behaviour, the hug, the questions about his clothes - lol. And that was a really sweet line, actually, when Dean said he hadn't remembered Sam being his brother but he knew Sam was important. Awwwwww.........I feel all warm and fuzzy..... Date: 06/09/10 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2 The World is Full Of Wonders! So sad that he didn't remember the Impala, but his reaction to her was funny - and the Harley. I could hear his child-like enthusiasm - lol. And then the hunter emerged at the sight of the weapons cache - just in time to give his poor doctor the fright of his life! Date: 06/09/10 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Paris Hilton and A Motel Pool! Hmm, it's coming back to Dean in dribs and drabs - more like habits than memories, though. Still, it's an improvement....even though he seems to have fallen in love with the psychedelic curtains. That was sweet how he got up in the middle of the night because things weren't right - waking Sam to swap beds. Jules Author's Response: When I was writing this one I was talking a lot to a very dear friend who had just had a really bad head injury and he would ring me in the middle of the night to ask the strangest questions. Date: 06/09/10 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Alternative music and sweet potato fries! Oh, poor, sweet, befuddled Dean! Fancy having a predatory waitress - LOL. It was a touching moment when Dean admitted that he was too unsure to answer Sam's mobile, worried that he wouldn't remember who was on the other end and being a bit embarrassed by his current condition. But I wonder if he might start to remember some more when he finally sees their old friend and surrogate father. Touching and a teeny bit sad too, when Sam asked Dean to call him bitch...*sniffle*... Date: 06/09/10 Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Discussions at the Diner. Could feel Sam's reluctance to crush his delicate brother, and his own horror at reliving two of the most painful events of their lives. But Dean wanted to know - had to know, to be able to fight his way out of the fog that is wrapped around his mind. Full marks to Sam for handling it as well as he did. The laughter at the end was unexpected, especially since it looked like they were gearing up for one of their usual fights - lol. And the bitch at the finish gives me hope that Dean is returning. Even though I'm going to miss sweet, innocent Dean. Jules Author's Response: Yeah when I started writing this one I imagined it would be exclusively light fluff but it turned a little bit darker. Date: 07/09/10 Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7. Vampires. Mental note....don't read this while eating lunch - lol. Loved, loved, loved Sam's desperate shout galvanising hunter Dean when he started to fade back into sweet fuzzy Dean and lose his momentum against the vampire. And loved the trap that Dean laid for said vampire before charging forward to take on the leader and save his baby bro. Oh, and we're back to the pool! LOL! Poor, sweet befuddled Dean has returned after being bonked on his poor head again. He's gunna need the good painkillers! Fight scenes worked fine for me, Bev. Date: 12/02/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 "Dean had seen the look on Bobby's face, never understanding the pain in those eyes when Bobby looked at Dean, never realizing that Bobby saw the beautiful broken boy in the broken man before him. The lost child behind the man's eyes, struggling to live up to impossible expectations and willing to sacrifice something he considered worthless for the sake of a life he considered beyond price." I have to say - out of a multitude of beautiful and touching lines, that one just stood out from all the rest. You have perfectly captured the essence of the intriguing puzzle that is Dean Winchester. We haven't seen that episode yet in Australia, but I have peeked at the clips in the gallery on sn.tv, and I was on the edge of my office chair when I watched the confrontation between Dean and himself. And when that admission came screaming out of him, I thought - finally! Finally, he sees he's worthy of so much more! I want to say so much more, but I just can't think to put it into words - suffice to say that I loved this tag - loved every piece of it, and I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to print it out to read again and again. Date: 18/02/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 If that is your first effort, I think by the time you get to your tenth, we are going to be blown away. That was a wonderful moment. We haven't seen MS in Australia yet, but I have peeked at a few clips, and it looks heartbreaking. I had tears in my eyes when I read this, especially at the end when Sam broke, and Dean vowed silently to never leave his side. That was a wonderful piece, and I hope that you are inspired to write many more. Date: 18/12/08 Title: Chapter 1: God's Will This was a wonderful insight into the troubled, conflicting thougts that Dean must have been having after the events of that episode. I love how you had Dean so hesitant to go in, but then when he saw the light, there was no turning back. And Fr Reynolds' insights into my favourite hunter were so spot-on and so poignant. Date: 02/02/10 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 That was just so adorable - and very funny. I can't wait to see where you go with this one. We hit the ground running - literally, with Dean taking the bolt out of the caverns with his new pint-sized Sammy tucked under one arm, and immediately a dozen questions spring to mind - love it! And then there were the lovely humourous moments like Sam sliding off the Impala and telling Dean he needs to stop waxing her - lol. The sock, walking around with his adult clothes dragging on his new tiny frame, being dangled by one hand in front of his over-protective big brother, the little whistle when he breathed, and the icing on the cake - wrapping his arms around Dean as the elder brother pulled him from the car. And Bobby's reaction - ROFL. Great, great start. Jules |
