Love the ending to this chapter - nice cliff-hanging.

Okay, really enjoyed the story until this chapter. Why not? Because it was unbelievable that Sam would kill himself so a demon couldn't have him. If Sam had actually killed himself, Azazel would have gotten his soul. Suicides either go to purgatory or Hell, depends on your beliefs, so Azazel still would have won that round by destroying the Winchesters. 'Cause you know Dean would have found a way to quickly get himself dead by monster after his brother was gone. I'm just sayin'...

First, I hate Sam and Dean torture, but it's so fascinating to read! (Does that say something about my moral character?). So, Gordo ended up in the hands of the cops in both tales, didn't he? Funny how like minds work alike (yours and Kripke's). Can't wait until the next riveting tale, I so enjoy your writing.

I really liked this one. Both gifts were something the real boys would give each other. Dean in glasses? Hm... I could see him never picking up another piece of research to read - ever.

Maybe it's my English major, but, don't you have spell check? My brain gets distracted by the wrong words (dew vs. due, cant vs can't - this is a contraction, ya know-, to vs too, sorted vs sordid... you get the drift). You're a very good writer and I can't wait to start the next in the series, but, even great writers need to watch the grammer and use the correct word to keep the flow of the story going for us English weirdos. Unless you're from a different country and that's how they write? Anyway, love your stories.

i'm not from a different country :) i'm actually dyslexic and i do work without a beta. this is an old story, it was reposted from another site and written about 2 years ago. i don't have time to go back through and fix things i know now. 

but later stories are better, writing is a learning process.  

Rather amusing, altho FYI, sex stores hand you bags with their names proudly and colorfully written all over it (but don't ask me how I know this!). And yes, you left off a major portion of the last sentence, when Sam wonders if Dean is around, and if he is, "don't make of me" but nothing lost. And just how did our rough cut Bobby know where to find the game??? Hmmm....

Man, you know how to squeeze a tear out of me!

Gotta admit I didn't care much for this story until the river scene, then it got interesting. Kind of a let down after the first in the series, I guess.

I don't know, story line just seems to need a little more fleshing out to keep my attention. And, altho Dean's words seem okay, his thinking phrases are kind of lame for his character. Sorry. I'll try to keep reading, tho.

Couldn't imagine Sam cutting Dean off so totally from his life so rudely. But I liked the story, especially the much happier ending.

Phew! Close call there, had me going.
