Date: 23/03/08 Title: Chapter 6: Glimpse Well you did it again another great story!! i was not pleased when i finished chapter 6 and there was no more.................. i knew when i first started to read that it was not completed but i got so wrapped in i forgot... Abe what a great character so strong yet so needing of Dean and Sam. i like that Dean and Lobo connected and i especially liked how you described why Dean and Lobo where the same. it is so true how wolves defend and protect each other in a pack the loyalty they have for each other; so Dean. and lets not forget the fact that Lobo is part Dog the loyalty and the fact that dogs forgive so quickly no matter how bad they might be treated......no matter what a dog will always trust and love its true owner. and Sam being the Eagle how true is that the strength and power Sam has without really understanding that he has it. i know it is wrong but i have no sympathy for Sal what a...well you know; he deserves what ever he gets. hope that chapter 7 and others will be coming soon; til then i will be waiting patiently.  Date: 06/04/08 Title: Chapter 7: Glance Amanda, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a powerful chapter!!! i almost cried when Lobo came out of the woods. "Who protects the protector." so true Dean is always protecting Sam who protects Dean? i love Abe his character is amazing; his strength, his power is hypnotizing. Abe being Sam's talisman excellent. Bobby and Maggie i was wondering how you were going to let Sam and Dean in on how much they still loved each other. Bobby leaving to protect Maggie i can see after what happened to his wife in season 3. i have read several of your stories and they all have left me wanting to read more. you are truly talented. i have only 1 other person on this web-site that i can not wait to read her chapters but i can honestly say you are right next to her as my fav. i have read several other authors and you and Birdie clearly are number 1. The funny thing is, I've had this story mapped out for some time -- since August, in fact -- and I didn't know about Bobby's wife. I figured he'd had a past, but wasn't sure what it was, of course. Which is why the reference to "her" is so vague. But, for those who have seen that S3 episode, I thought it fit nicely, so thanks for saying that. Date: 05/05/08 Title: Chapter 8: Gaze Amanda, first, i am glad that you are all right and are healing from your surgery. Second, i have missed you. Third, wow! Where to begin. this story was so gripping i was left wanting to read more when each chapter ended and excited when a new chapter had been added. You are truly blessed in your writing abilities. this story captured Dean, Sam, Bobby in a way that showed how we feel about them as characters and how we want to protect and take care of them. you had us all wanting to jump in and protect them from the demon as well as the 3 who had originally hurt Claire. i was saddened at Abe for deciding to leave and return to his people. but knowing that was truly where he belonged hit home for me. we all have a purpose in life some of us are to be hero's that everyone know and admires like soldiers who fight in a war for freedom or the man or woman who rushes into a building to save a life. the silent hero's that don't get their name in the paper are the ones that we all have in our life and admire like our parents, grandparents, children or best friends. the way you have written Abe is truly some one i would have in my life and would truly admire and i especially like how you let Dean point out that he was a hero. Sam and Bobby walking back to the bar and pickering had me laughing at the 2 of them. Sam calling Bobby an "old man' and Bobby calling Sam "too tall" great interaction with the 2. Sam carrying Lobo back to the bar and having Abe take care of him. i was so relived that he was all right. i was shocked at the fact that you might of killed him off and glad you decided not too. Dean asking Abe to take Lobo. again great. Dean needing Lobo to be taking care of and knowing Abe needed Lobo as well. there is so much more i can comment on but i feel i have written enough and i am truly hoping that you write another story that has Abe in it. Thank-you for reaching out to us and taking us away from our daily routine and giving us something to look forward too. You are remarkable!!!!! will be waiting patiently for your next story. Date: 04/03/08 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 i love how you made them let Ben stay if Ben chose to be a Seraphim. i love the relationship between the 3 of them. Ben is so much like Dean. Mary and the family curse would be a great way to explain why Dean and Sam have the life they have i like this aspect as well. i found myself laughing and crying with in these chapters especially at the end of chapter 10. please post the remaining chapters are i am sure others as well as myself need to know which way Ben chose. Renee Author's Response: I'm working it through as fast as I can. I am so glad that these characters are working for you. I adore Ben and I'm having such a fun time writing him. Date: 10/03/08 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11 this story is heart wrenching can't wait for the other chapters. hoping that Ben is in Indianapolis. Bobby almost getting into a fight with Gabriel; made me smile at the thought. the line you wrote about Sam loving Ben like Ben was his own. totally know the feeling i would die for my nephews. hope you post chapter 12 soon Renee Author's Response: I feel the same about my nieces and nephews and I imagine it would be even more intense in the Winchester's situation. Sam taking Ben's side; too funny. little nervous about Ben facing the Demon; curious as to how you are going to write the outcome. hope chapter 14 will be along soon; keep up the great work. Renee Author's Response: I'm working on 14 now and it should only take a day or two to finish up. Then dear Katric tears it apart so that I can put it back together again - what a fun process. I thought Dean and Ben facing off was fun. I get intense pleasure when I fight with my kids (I know very wrong of me) but I love watching them growing and stretching their 'wings'. Date: 25/03/08 Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14 OMG what an awesome ending!!!!!!! not happy that Dean was crucified how terrible. Loved the conflict between Sam and Ben and Ben being the voice of reason. liked why Sam chose good over evil; not wanting to let down Dean. Favorite line "energizer bunny, my dad" how true is that.. in a way i am sad that this story is over i enjoyed the 3 of them so much i laughed and cried in so many chapters, hope you will be writing other great stories soon. Renee Author's Response: The crucifixion has been pretty impactful for people. I'd like to think that's a good thing. I know its brutal but it seemed to fit. I loved the energizer bunny line too. I guess Timex would've worked too but way before Ben's time. You know - takes a licking and keeps on ticking? I've started another story already - plugging sorry - and I just may be writing another one with Ben in at a later date (dang thing is starting to eat at my brain already - never a good thing). Date: 26/03/08 Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Getting Reaquainted? another great chapter. i was hoping you would have Michael still be in Dean's room when he woke up. like how Sam has become the protector for Dean especially where Michael is concerned. Mikey being able to see and feel Dean's pain both mentally and physically; he is going to be trouble for Dean again. Uriel staying with the boys, can't wait too read how this is going to play out. Him and Sam don't get along too well all ready. i have to say it YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love your stories and will be waiting ever so patiently for chapter 7. An Offer From Michael Bev, i love you!!!!!!!!!!!! this story is amazing the relationship between the Angels, Sam, Dean and Jo is remarkable. i love the tension between Dean and Uriel and the jealousy involving Jo. i can not wait for more issues between Dean and Uriel; poor Sam he is going to have his hands full. I miss Jo in season 3 and had hoped that her and Dean would have hooked up in Season 2 at least for a night. Jo was so much more believable to me than Ruby all though i do like Bela. Jo going with Michael, Raphe and Raguel going to get interesting i am sure. also wanted to comment on Michael and Raguel scolding Uriel you do have him acting like such a child; love you concept on these 4 Angels. i am sure chapter 8 will be up soon. I know Uriel's behaving very badly but he is the baby of the family and is used to being indulged by his brother angels. And his impetuous nature is part of his charm! Date: 29/04/08 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Departures. Bev, man, i have missed you! this was a great chapter! Uri is a shit!!!!!!!! like how Jo was angry but yet she enjoyed the kiss. Dean let Uri win by not saying goodbye to Jo proper. he should have grabbed her and kissed her more passionately than Uri. Jackass. i really like the bond between Dean and Raphe and the way you had him have tears in his eyes when Raphe hugged him goodbye. i also liked the goodbye between Dean and Raguel. i like how you have the angels liking Dean; well except Uri but he is just jealous because he can't go. but i am expecting him and Dean to form some sort of a relationship. glad you are back and hope everything on your end is all right. Date: 06/05/08 Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 9 And So to Bobby's... Bev, what a great chapter. i was wondering when Mickey was going to make an appearance. So EVIL!!! love the last line "Hey, driver picks the music and, angel shuts his cake hole!" too funny. i liked Uri in this chapter his compassion for Dean was heart felt and i am hoping that in the end you make them friends. again great chapter Renee Author's Response: Renee, my friend. Ah yes Mikey! Well that boy just wasn't going to stay all meek and quiet was he? And he is very evil but hopefully with style. Bobby's reaction to Uriel was great, just how i would expect him to react. Dean is in so much pain just want to hold him, cuddle him, take care of him and sleep....er i mean make sure he is all right.................LOL Glad you are back and had a great time at Asylum. Date: 27/05/08 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11 Discussions at Bobby's Bev, once again you have touched a be founding core deep inside of my soul. the test to have faith, to believe; i feel is in all of us. to do what is right is thrust at us daily. the knowledge that good can not exist without evil is part of our everyday life. i love how you have written out this chapter Dean trusting Bobby enough to not only tell him how he feels scared as hell but also being able to shed the tears he so desperately tries to hide. i love how Bobby has become so much of a father figure to these 2 my heart breaks when he is hurting just as much as if were Dean or Sam in pain. i am also really liking how you are having Sam bound with Uriel. Sam telling Uriel why Dean is afraid is profound. Uriel and Sam relating on how their big brothers forget they are adults too real had me laughing. "Dean looked into his brother's wide, warm hazel eyes and saw the unvoiced concerns in his worried frown. He managed a smile, and for a moment exhaustion caused that simple gesture to roll back the older hunter's omnipresent shutters allowing Sam to see straight into his brother's complex and damaged depths. It was like being instantly sucked into a churning vortex and the turbulence and terror roiling within the outwardly tranquil man was breathtaking. The sudden revelation of his brother's inner turmoil left Sam reeling." this description of Dean to Sam left me breathless the realization hit hard. i loved this paragraph. You have described Dean's eyes in so many different ways and i honeslty feel this is one of my favorites, "turbulent green ocean." talk about getting lost in a sea of green and melting like an ice berg when ever you look into his eyes. as always Bev, you're handling of words leaves me wanting more. I laugh that you point out my minor obsession with Dean's eyes as I know I have a fixation with them but I do think they are exceptionally beautiful! Bev, Welcome back babe................missed ya this chapter was great had me laughing at Dean and Uri. i would have kicked his ass! loved these two lines the best, the line with the conditioner also great. Poor Sam trying not to laugh but thankfully Dean had the last laugh thanks to the plumbing. again glad you are back Renee Author's Response: Renee. Hey Boo, I'm glad to be back too. Date: 12/10/08 Title: Chapter 17: Chapter 17 Watch Out for the were bear! Bev, i am glad you are back; missed you. this chapter had my adrenaline going. Dean and Uriel fighting for survival from the were creatures. Great action. i do understand Sam's anger but i think you nailed it perfectly how he was to angry to notice Dean's tone of voice and that he was crealy injured did not come to Sam. i also liked how you had Uriel getting mad at Sam for not noticing. the 2 of them protecting each other was great and the bond you are creating with them just keeps getting better and better. as always you never disapoint. hope the next chapter will be soon.
