Thanks. Thanks for reading. I want to know EVERYTHING about the Winchesters, including their backstory! I love that the writers give us enough snippets to inspire me and others to write our stories, but I'd love to hear the 'official' version of what happened and why. Until Kripke deems us worthy of either more flashbacks or a preseries set of books, I'll keep formulating my own theories. It is so much fun examining these most fascinating men! Later, B.J.

 Date: 08/02/12 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 - Pressure Lovely chapter, bjxmas. This said everything I think about Dean. I wished the show would bring this point up more, and in a clear way. They've had Sam mention it a couple of times, but it gets lost in the broad scheme of things going on in the show. Bobby, I do believe, knew this about Dean and handled him quite well. Thanks. Thank you! Dean is such a compelling character with so much going on. The pressure he was constantly under, the expectations thrust upon him by his family coupled with his need to care for them and not disappoint...yeah, so much going on just beneath the surface, but there in Jensen's eyes. Bobby is so intuitive, with a similar background with his own father. I know that's why he was so close to Dean, why he tried to protect him and nurture him. Thank goodness Dean had him in his corner. Thanks for the lovely review, B.J.

Date: 13/02/12 Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 9 - Trust, Respect and Love Wonderful end notes, B.J. You said it perfectly, which describes why we all loved Bobby. Gosh, I sure would love a sentence of dialogue from Dean acknowledging resolution of his feelings for John. I don't like where the show left it. Just a thought, but maybe when Cas comes back, maybe when they parallel their stories with their fathers again, then maybe both will realize their perceptions were off, that both Dad's loved their kids. I too want some resolution, some acknowledgment from Dean that he still loves and respects his dad, that he accepts he wasn't perfect but that he knows he tried his best. I'd really love to see Bobby talk to Dean about his dad. Bobby be that bridge between hero-worship and the deadbeat dad comments. Always something for show to give us cause we always want more! Date: 27/02/12 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 - Beauty and the Beast I long for the days when Dean was fun and had purpose. I've given up hope that the show will ever have him realize any self-worth. In fact, I've given up hope that Dean will ever have a real love of hunting, or even realize a driven purpose (like saving people) to it, or realize that what he does is important. (I'm thinking that SG is a crazed Amazon man-hater, to tell you the truth.) It's a nice tribute to the character that you see him that way, though. I see Dean through Jensen's ackting. I think Show has given him so many layers, so much pain and angst that it would be extremely hard for Dean to ever again be carefree and joyous...and yet, with Jensen, I never give up hope of a spark of the old Dean. I think Dean has always had the ability to bounce back, to have fun and enjoy himself. I'm hoping he finds a balance, accepts the harshness of his life as the price for doing good. I hope he rediscovers that pride in a job well done and in saving people. It is what makes it all worthwhile. I do love to see him genuinely smile and laugh. Maybe soon... B.J. Summary: New Orleans, Louisiana. Six people have died in the past two weeks. All ruled suicides. Three jumped off cliffs, three drowned in a bog. And this isn't the first time it's happened. A job for Sam and Dean? Most definitely. But this case just might hit a little too close to home as the guys are forced to face up to their mistakes and fears in the most cruel way imaginable. Season 2.
