I did some checking and, well…” He hesitated for moment, taking a breath before continuing, “You know how much you wanna kill that thing that killed Mary? Well, that’s how badly Halloway wants to see this thing dead. It killed his brother, tore him apart right in front of him.” Maybe that's why John doesn't like him, since they are like pretty similar and all, although John's not really using other people as bait...at least, i don't think so.. Date: 02/09/08 Title: Chapter 15: Novacaine Finally! i finished reading this and it was great! fell out of touch with the story but rereading the entire thing brings it back, and i must say that it's great to have you finally finish it. Love the story. although it's AU now, i think it's a great plot, and i'm glad that you keep it as close to canon as possible. i like the back and forth timeline that you had in the story, cuz i think it makes for a more well-rounded plot. :) Author's Response: Oh my God, you have no idea how glad I am to have this story finished. What with slacking halfway through it, I thought it would never happen so I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
