Date: 30/11/07 Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 19 Finally! It's 2 am where i am right now and i must say it's worth every hour i spent not sleeping and instead reading this story. It's like i've accidentally stepped on some very sticky chewing gum, and had to spend a loooong time to attend to it, and finally unsticking it. LOL is that a good analogy? i'm not sure. But i'm sure that i enjoyed this story very much! Summary: A supernatural save of a young woman has severe consequences for Dean and his sanity. The brothers start to understand each others' burdens. Date: 10/12/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 it's actually uncomfortable peering so much into Dean's mind. it's as if, after peeling all the layers, you see a core that is of such terrible beauty and sadness and all you want to do is to take all the pain away but you can't, so all you can do is to let him destroy himself bit by bit, and hopefully you can prevent him from losing it altogether. I created Brenna way back when for the purpose of having a reason to "get inside" of Dean. That character, Dean, is pretty much my consumate hero, so my efforts have been focused on him... BUT! I've always thought that there would be no way Dean could allow himself to be happy and at peace with someone like Brenna if Sam weren't happy and taken care of... I just never thought about taking care of Sam myself! It just seemed to me that it would be the type of thing that Sam wouldn't ever mention if he did see it, but it does make it more poignant to think somebody had to have seen that heartbreaking look on Dean's face afterward.
