I have to say this is the funniest line I've read in fanfiction - ever - "...who’d want to see him and Dean getting all sweaty and beating stuff up?" Who indeed? I love this story and can't wait to see where your cliffhanger takes us. Poor Dean, I do feel a little sympathy for you as I sniff and sneeze my way through my life not far from that damn swamp. Date: 27/05/08 Title: Chapter 6: A Little Further Into Day 3: Well Usually I Prefer My Women A Bit Drier And Less... Dead. Kirsty, You had me laughing out loud, that was great. The mud wrestling was wonderful although knowing the terrible smell was always there too the true...enjoyment....out of the situation. I loved your conclusion to the hunt, not the usual bells and whistles which was a nice change. I liked that the guys appreciated the reunion of the two lovers and the beauty of the situation. VERY much looking forward to a couple of shower scenes (thank you for two, don't want just one -- together or not). Thanks for this story. It was a great read, I enjoyed every bit of it. Date: 12/07/08 Title: Chapter 7: Still Day 3: The Gratuitous Shower Scenes Can I just say wow! That was great. You went to Dean's abs and the water going down and I thought, "No, she won't go there." And then you did! Awesome. Now to be serious, beautiful descriptions. I applaud your attention to detail and the sacrifices you make for your research. I hope there are no linger charges for you. Now, really seriously, I laughed through the whole thing. Laughed out loud, tears in my eyes while brushing them away desperately in order to be able to read more. And the ending was perfect...payback is a bitch for a distracted Dean! Write more, you are very good at this. Date: 04/06/08 Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Killing more than time That was a wonderful description of the state of Dean once he gets back from Hell. Many are trying few are succeeding, you have done it. I could perfectly imagine and feel Dean's injuries. They weren't too few or too much. I can't wait for the reunion between Sam and Dean but the journey there is going to be wonderful. Thanks for another great chapter in a great series. I find myself wishing that they'd done something very similar (if not exactly this) in the show. I got about half way down and went back to the top and then read every word...out loud. That was wonderful and a great way to explain why Dean is screaming Sam's name. Date: 26/06/09 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Ending with a Difference I came to read this after the Writers Group about characters. I am fascinated by family when it comes to the Winchesters so when you presented Amelia at the writer's group, I had to know what you did with her. I like this. She was a wonderfully developed character. I liked her and could completely relate to her. I could also relate to Dean and his aversion to her. Southern Stock? No. I can't buy them being from a southern heritage but once Amelia entered the scene it "read" southern. I don't know how to explain it any more than that, I could hear a southern accent from that point on. Dean and Sam are pure Mid-west to me (which says a lot about Jensen and Jared's acting skills cause I don't get a lick of Texan from them.) This was a good story with great characters. Date: 11/12/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - The Journey Starts at the Beginning I love the comparision, looking at who Dean was when he first got to hell in comparision to who he was after he broke. I'm looking forward to more of this story. I also like that even though he capitulated, he still has his humanity. He's fighting even though he's doing that which he can't stand. Author's Response: I so admire how Dean can hold on to his humanity after all he's seen and been forced to do. And now with Hell breaking him, it is a wonder he can keep moving forward with that incredible pain and guilt. It does make for a fascinating character study and only Dean could stay so strong even in the face of defeat. Date: 23/01/09 Title: Chapter 1: EPISODE TEASER I NEVER read scripts but since it was you I decided to give it a try. Very well done. I really can't wait to see what comes next - loved the interspersing of "reality" with "episode." And the ominous "what could go wrong?" - from a psychic no less - yeah love it. My secret hope? That we get to see a lot of past characters in this one. Thanks for a good read. And most especially thanks for actually making it look like a script. I usually don't read script because any that I have read look like it's from writers that don't know how to do descriptions so they just make it all dialogue. That is obviously not the case here.
