Date: 30/11/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 The games we play aw, love this one. can't believe i haven't reviewed it before now - sorry! the way you change the entire feel of the piece with just one sentence is really great - The car fell into a heavy silence, the only saving grace, the heavy thrum of the engine as it ate up the road…until Dean muttered under his breath, "…made you eat though…" then the equally sudden shift in mood again at the end - really evokes the way dynamics can shift between family, and these two in particular! And i love that 'dark glow in his eyes' - anger, sadness, guilt, love... could be so many things! and so easy to picture. Ta hun! cal Summary:

That 'emerald ice' and the 'vast plains' of suffering behind them, stunning. But a Winchester Wedgie? Ooh, makes ya cringe- poor Dean! Keep em coming, hun! Cal-Baby! Date: 23/04/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 The truth we cling to Damn- I knew I'd promised a review somewhere, I just couldn't find which story it was on. Well, found it now, so, less of the rambling...(maybe. If you're lucky.) This story was brilliant, so full of twists and plot 180's it made waiting for the next chapter pure torture. The imagery fitted so perfectly with the artwork in the Sandman books, as did the feeling that the lines between the good guys and the bad were so blurred it took until the very last chapter to see just what had been going on. You made me laugh, cry, run and hide (in the space of five minutes, at times!), and I know I'll be seeing that statue in my sleep for a long time - i think that was my favourite bit (DAMN hard to choose though!), the change from the yearning to the wistful, the malevolent to the pained was a beautiful parallel to the rollarcoaster ride of hope and despair you took us on. I can't wait for the sequel, hun, this rocked, and knowing the way you right, it'll only get better... Fantastic job!
