I love the fact that Bobby has their photo, Your Bobby is so bang on 'cause he cares so for the boys and especially Dean needs that, but he would die rather than admit he had their photo! Nice characterisation, lovely! Made me fill up! long long eyelashed glued together - oh yeah baby and a dressing on his thigh! Date: 15/11/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 This was real interesting for me 'cause I was really sad last night when I read it (two friends had breavements this week, sad for them and took me back to a time of my own terrible loss). The first bit glistened with loneliness... then lust!. You write sex real well! Then scared for Sam - loosing his humanity? what's the point in Dean's deal if Sam lives but looses his soul? It felt more bleak than some of your writings, not a critisism or maybe I felt bleak!? Then a glimmer of hope in your last line. Thanks for that it let me come back form the brink. I like this bit : "God, how he had wanted to lay the fuck down and die right next to him. Curl into Sam and ... just expire. Dean sobbed in a way that made Bobby flee the premises" This is achingly sad but not indulgent or mawkinsh in any way. You have caught and built on Jensen's so convincing acting in the Sam's death scene in your piece, and it's lovely. Date: 02/01/08 Title: Chapter 9: Innocent and Lost Oh Cal, this is first bleak with the agony of potential loss, my heart ached for Dean's pain and grief and dispair, I could see him sitting on the porch with his hand in his hair trying not to break into a thousand pieces. and then you give us a little chance of redemption and I so want that for him, but it's fragile and I'm scared for what will come next.
