The pain in his gut deepened as Sam faced more of Dean's sacrifice and self-denial. Once again Dean wanted for Sam what he refused to acknowledge he deserved for himself. Sam didn't know what to say to ease Dean's pain so he offered his brother the only truth he knew.

It's so evocative without being cloying or overly sentimental. It made me cry because your characterisation was so right on that I was right there with them. He felt like he was betraying Dean by allowing this monster to defile his good name and all the great accomplishments of his life, and a part of him wanted to bust the demon’s jaw himself for daring to speak Dean’s name. If your intent was to have the reader outraged yet transfixed then you hit your mark. And damn you, the images you have planted are so wrong but (god forgive me) so hot! I thought the worst was over, but unfortunately this demon just keeps getting more vicious. I can't control him. This is why I was so hesitant to post this story, it is much darker than I normally write, but there is a light coming.
