 Date: 02/03/07 Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Great story! Terrific dialogue, and you capture the boys perfectly. Did you know what the "secret" was when you originally wrote this? I love the tension and "dancing" between the bros. Please try to keep Dean in his boxers for as long as possible... It's easy to see why this story won an award already -hoping this means there will be more posted soon? Author's Response: Thanks for that wonderful review - I so appreciate it. I'm glad you thought I captured the boys well - since it was my first SN fic, I was a little nervous about that. I did not know the Secret when I wrote the story, but by the time I wrote the epilogue, which wasn't part of the original story, I did know it. LOL - Dean in his boxers - he will be in them (and out of them) for the majority of what's left! :-)

Date: 03/03/07 Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7 Great chapter. Loved Sam's realization of what John's death meant to Dean and Dean's dreams. Great writing. Totally with you on Dean's inability to give it up. I also love the spin you put on Dean's remorse at honoring John over Sam. You've made the confession scene in "Hunted" mean a lot more and make a lot more sense. Really, really looking forward to your next post.... Please hurry! Thank you for that wonderful review. I always felt that whatever the Secret was Dean would feel torn between honoring his father and betraying his brother - or vice versa. That boy's head is so filled with painful memories of the Winchester version of family - he's ripe for psychoanalyzing - and emotional fanfic torture. :-) So glad you're enjoying the story!

Date: 03/03/07 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Wow! Are you sure you have no medical training? Mine is all gleaned from watching too much tv, but this all seemed pretty accurate to me (at the very least totally believable). Your hard work definitely paid off! Author's Response: LOL - I'm positive I have no medical training. And believe it or not, I don't even watch the medical shows on TV. Date: 05/03/07 Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 9 I love the way you can sneak in a moment of complete levity - Sam's comment that the rain would stop as soon as the house caught on fire was perfect! Yet another great chapter. Sam channeling John to get Dean to drink was heart wrenching. I'm really loving Dr Bates and Betty. Looking forward to more... Thanks for that great review. I'm glad you appreciated the levity. Sometimes when I was writing those chapters I had to step back and take a deep breath - so the levity helped me too. :-) So glad you liked Bates and Betty - I had a lot of fun with them.

Date: 08/03/07 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11 Wow!!! Great ending - even though I really didn't want it to end... I love that you have captured Sam's new maturity. It's something I've definitely noticed this season in the show. I also love how Sam makes Dean see that he is human and be ok with it, in fact, be better because of it. My favourite line has to be: "How's your spleen? You attached to it?" OMG, seriously dude, lol! Date: 03/04/07 Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 This is such a great concept for a story - I'm loving it! Never apologize for a Dean-centric chapter... I don't think it gets any better than that lone tear. Can't wait for the next chapter - and I'm assuming we won't find our who the ghost of Christmas future is until the one after that? Yikes! Author's Response: Thank you so much, lam! I'm glad Dean's one lone tear got to you. I wanted him to be emotional, but not sappy since we all know he is a tough cookie. I can hardly wait for the future showdown - although I'm pretty sure that without Sam it will go to .... "hell"? lol. I'm dying to know who will be the ghost of Christmas future - John maybe? Im glad u liked the numerology stuff - beleive me, it was difficult to make sure i got all my facts in order, but i swear there is actually a demonology site like the one i described, and the text is from real books/webpages. None of it was fabricated...which is actually kind of freaky...

Date: 24/03/07 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Dr. Gordon? DR GORDON! Love it. Great story. I think this may turn out to be a great companion to episode 20 of this season. Poor Dean, though. The only way to get Sammy back is to kill Dad again. Really looking forward to the next chapter.... Don't worry, this chapter was TOTALLY believable. I can see how it would have been hard to write, however, because of the great suspense you've created here. I wasn't expecting John to come out of the bathroom! Even though I was figuring they were headed to the cemetary, I loved what you did when you got us there. Did I mention that I'm really looking forward to the next chapter? No pressure...

Date: 31/03/07 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 OMG - I was on the edge of my seat for this entire chapter! It's not only Dean's mind that you are torturing... I loved the image of John on the side of the road with Dean screaming past him in the truck - lol! Keep the twists and turns coming...
