Thanks for skipping Terri's obligatory death scene, and thanks for not killing Jim. I really liked how you had Dean's memory come back in little snatches. Pastor Jim calling Dean DJ was also a really nice touch. Thanks lam - I very glad you liked it. I don't have the opportunity to write much for here because the Virtual Season keeps me pretty busy. So when someone likes a story - it means a lot to me.

Date: 11/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: The story... I just re-read this fabulous story. In light of CSPWDT and Heart, the single tear just keeps popping up. Good for you to be the first one to really see its significance and tie it to a fabulous back story. Summary: Dean is haunted by the flashback from a hunt that took place while Sam was at Stanford. He can't remember the details but what he can't recall can hurt him.

Date: 10/02/07 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 The Hunt Part One: Eyewitness Accounts aaaaaarrrrrrrggggggh! I laughed, I cried, I pulled my hair out! I loved Dean having to improve to look like shit. Also Sam's thinking him beautiful. Great change in perspective - I knew it couldn't be quite the way Dean was remembering it. Please don't kill any kittens - and really, if you need more than one more chapter.... Author's Response: I don't think I'll need to bring out the Kitten guns but I WILL finish this in the next chapter. Worst case I'll leave off the final paragrah, which wull kinda blow the end but hey, sacrifices come in all kinds...

Date: 11/02/07 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11 Hunt Part 2: Perception of Reality I am the fly to your spider... Ok, I had it figured that it was a bullet causing the pain. Initially, I thought silver and somehow Dean was werewolf infected or something... I didn't see Caleb's "proof" with the marked bullets with the first clue in the last chapter, but I did figure it out before Sam. BUT I never saw the ending coming! Poor Dean! Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you like it. Yeah, after I read Terry's "Chipping Away" I was awestruck and asked if she would allow me to do that. Of course, she's super nice and said yes. I really appreciate the review and I hope you continue to like what you read. I'm planning on posting another chapter tomorrow providing nothing goes wrong. Pardon my spelling errors, I'm one tired puppy and the brain is gearing down for bedtime, lol.

Date: 06/02/07 Title: Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Hopes and Fears This was soooo worth waiting for. Please don't be in a rush to get to the end. Great chapter! I'm really looking forward to the Native American healing rituals to come. As always, you do a great job capturing Sam and Dean. I also love how detailed you are being - that's the best part of fanfic! We get so much more than what can be put in an episode. Yeah, that's what I love about fan fic, too. I've always been the type that thought the book was better than the movie...you just get more. I like being able to read the character's thoughts and motivations. Plus, we get to dwell on the angst if that's what you're into, lol. I'm trying not to rush, but I've had this one finished for a while and I'm already working on a new story...nearly done with the first chapter...and I'm anxious to start posting it. All I'm really doing as I repost this here is going over each chapter, trying to make it better than it was and correct mistakes I missed the first time through. I want the final version posted here to be the best it can be without doing a complete re-write, which I don't have time for. Anyway, thanks for the review...I need the encouragement because as I went back over this, I wondered if it was worthy of being posted here. Glad you enjoyed it!

Date: 21/02/07 Title: Chapter 20: Chapter 20: Devils and Heroes OMG!!! What an ending! Can't say that I had expected it either. I love that John finally gets to come to Dean's aid. Love the light of Dean fighting Dean - is it just me, or is this scene supposed to make me think of the light sabres in Star Wars? Warrior Dean and the best symbolic swords ever. AND I think I'm the first to get a review in on this chap?hehehe More please! Author's Response: Actually, I think at one point, the similarity with the light sabers to occur to me, lol. One, green/blue, the other red. Maybe I was thinking of that subconsciously. Yep, I think you first :) I'm glad you liked this because it was tough to write. I wanted to make sure John played a part, but I didn't know how to get him there. Thanks for leaving me your thoughts, I loved reading them.

Is there more coming? Thank you for the heads up to go back and re-read chaps 9 and 10. Am I correct in seeing a link between Dean's "emerald" eyes and the Wizard of Oz references? This was really a fabulous story. Great characterizations, dialogue and plot. I've very much enjoyed the ride - Thanks! Author's Response: Actually, I did promise all the good folks at ff.net that I would do a sequel about half way through this one...promised to go back and clear up the Jessica thing. I figured this one was long enough by the time I got to chapter 11 or so and a sequel would have to pick up where I left off on the ghost-girl thing. I kinda promised to start the sequel after I finish An Act of Deliberation which I hope to keep at or under 10 chapters. Date: 01/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: The Long Night I too just re-read this story and couldn't believe that I didn't review and rave about it the first time I read it. I needed a good old bleeding, feverish, puking Dean story (and why is that?) and you deliver soooo well. Love Sam caring for Dean and LOVE foogers. Summary: A supernatural save of a young woman has severe consequences for Dean and his sanity. The brothers start to understand each others' burdens. Chapter 9 now here!

Date: 27/04/07 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 I was soooo glad to see your post! I have to admit that I had almost given up on you. This chapter was well worth the wait - even if you have ended it with a very evil cliffy! I hope that it is truly Dean going for the Glock, though I can think of no reason why he would need it right now.... Please up date soooon; I'm dying to know more about what Dean needs to save Max from - could her Dad have had something to do with the cult that abducted her? And poor Dean needs help dealing with the loss of his own baby.

Date: 06/04/07 Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 23 I just re-read this story and couldn't believe that I never reviewed to tell you how much I enjoyed it. Love the interplay and banter between the boys - you have done a great job with them. Kerri is a fabulous character (and I generally hate new characters to the Supernatural universe, so you had an uphill battle there!). I am definately enjoying her in your two current fic's too. You are totally right about the flying thing - I often dream I am flying but hate to fly on a plane - totally a control thing - I don't even like someone else driving the car... Thanks for such a great story. Author's Response: i am so glad you enjoyed the story. and i am glad that you like kerri. i am with you, i generally dont like stories with new characters is them. so i worked extra hard on her, trying to slowly fit her into their world. it is a great relief to hear that those months of work paid off :). i hope you continue to enjoy her and the other stories. thank you. :) ps. i am with you on the control thing too, but only in cars (i had a really bad accident) i love planes though.

Date: 08/05/07 Title: Chapter 18: Chapter 18 Great ending. I've been looking forward to this story ever since reading 'Something Lost'. It's always nice to see John in a slightly better light than Dean's memories might paint him. Not that Dean is hard on John - I think Dean is hard on Dean - projecting disappointment where it doesn't exist. It's very sad that Dean felt he couldn't tell John 'cuz I think John would have been proud of him... Summary: Sammy brought home an art project once.
