As a favor to old flame Cassie, Dean and Sam agree to help out her oldest friend Amba Williams. The boys set off to Alpine, Arizona to burn the bones of an alleged spirit, only to find it's much more than either of them imagined. As the hunt drags they discover the secrets of the town are buried deeper than six feet under.
As Sam gets attached to heroine Amba, they have to prepare themselves for the possibility of her being the villain. Can secrets stay DEAD? Date: 20/10/07 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4- I had this cousin Taylor from hookman? Very clever! I really like the bit where Sam said he thought he met an angel but sadly not. And then Amba says..."some angels sit on your shoulder as small as a cricket. Ans some stand strong, right beside you." (Meaning Dean.) I like Amba, she's very sweet. Date: 20/10/07 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10-Without A Trace Very interesting turn Fantasy, I'm impressed by this. That Dale boy is creeeepy *cringes* I'da sockd him. Lol It's a pleasant surprise that Dean has formed a friendship with Amba, he seems to genuinely like her. And that's sayn somethin, usually he wants to rip the girls close off, obviously he's seen something in Amba. Sam is getting touchy in this chappy, and that was so sweet when his stomach did cartwheels when he saw Amba's tiny feet. Good chapter Fantasy. Author's Response:

I like her though, don't know why...okay random:) Amba, a monster...maybe this witch has been watching Amba since before the she ranaway...is it bewitching half the town to attack Amba? Date: 18/11/07 Title: Chapter 12: Chapter 12- It's Not Over! In the kitchen, Amba and Sam were dying to kiss, I could just tell, they have some hmm mm tension going on. Lol Charlene is lucky that was just a warning, this thing knows how important she is to Amba...Glad it's not over, your writing just sucks me in. Amba trying to send Sam and Dean away, she reminds me of Dean a bit, knowing it's not over doesn't scare her as much as the boys getting hurt does. Niice! Brownsuga Author's Response:

'hearts beating loud enough wake Charlene next door'...that moment Sam and Amba had was so awwww Soooo many secrets, Joe and Grace are somehow in the middle of this whole thing. Date: 16/12/07 Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15- Behind Blue Eyes I love how every character has great significance, they start of being a cameo. Then BOOM, thats why they're in it. Naheeda started off being the girl that answered the door to the boys and now her father and her tangled in the whole mess. Love the part where Sam was watching Amba's enticing body, the way you write is incerible...' her womanly curves trapping him in his impure thoughts of her.' You can really write passion, I can see there is passion between Sam and Amba. Just great!!!! Suga Author's Response:

Date: 21/12/07 Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 16- Not Alone Matilda from the cafe? the shy timid one. Cale seems very dark, poor Matilda, shes the older one but Cales in charge. I'm gobsmacked that Eleanor has all those pictures of Amba, lisas face gone, is she the one who has Lisa? This is brilliant stuff, as soon as I think I might know who it is, something else is revealed. Very jiucy stuff indeed. Poor Amba was so happy when Joe showed up, he's so hard!!! Amba loves her glasses but she's willing to take them off coz Joe don't, horrible man. And then to end the chapter with a BANG!!! Our reckless driver bill was a cop, actually a dectective, so many twists and turns slowly unravelling, boy I cant get enough of this story. Another riveting chapter!!!! Suga Author's Response:

Date: 24/06/09 Title: Chapter 20: Chapter 20- All the things you said. I sadly lost track of this story for a while but coming back to it, I feel like I never went away. It still has the same pulling effect on me, I'm hooked again. I like the flashback of Clare, Matilda and Cale... I'm so intrigued by Eleanor and Noah's conversation, about debts being collected? Hmm. My fav part ... "Sam and Dean, the underwear models." Cale peered her eyes over the book. "Underwear models." Dean scratched his head "Ah that's funny." He turned to face Sam "I hate this bitch." Date: 14/07/09 Title: Chapter 21: Chapter 21- It's her they wanted! A very long chapter with lots going on, let me see if I can remember. I definitely liked the fight between Joe and Grace, and I liked his hallucination. I wish Amba hadn't forgiven Naheeda, for once I wish she could be a bitch like Naheeda was. But, I was smiling from ear to ear when Sam kissed Amba again, and this time she didn't stop him. The end though, it was very heart breaking to read, Charlene has been Amba's rock and now...

Date: 14/07/09 Title: Chapter 22: Chapter 22- Me, Myself & Cale I love how at different times both boys comforted Amba, I really like the relationship she has with Dean. --- "Atta Girl." Dean winked at her. "You're stronger than you think." Amba caught Dean off guard when she threw herself into his arms, she couldn't smile even with her best efforts but she didn't cry either. Amba was petrified; everything was suddenly so real to her. Now she was scared of coming face to face with this witch and needed the safety of Dean and Sam's words and reassurance. "Hey." His arms slowly found its way around her body, he held onto her tighter as he felt her tremble. "Hey, It's gonna be okay." "Promise?" She whispered. "Yeah, promise." --- I also loved the twist between the trio, Matilda, Cale and Clare, brilliant unravelling. OMG Sam knows who the witch is and then Amba arrives at her mom's house and she's being shady.

Date: 14/07/09 Title: Chapter 24: Chapter 24- Nineteen Eighty Six OMFG I'm speechless, WOW. What a twist, what a plot, you've had us fooled from the start, pure genius!!! Amba's real mother was really hard done by but I'm so annoyed with what Amba's ended up doing. I didn't want her to go, I mean I know her and Sam couldn't have a relationship because he's a hunter but...I guess I thought they'd get to spend some real time together before he went. Now Sam's heart broken, Dean doesn't know what to say to make it better and I'm upset. You wrote it very well, definitely wrote great chemistry between Sam and Amba, as well as Dean and Amba. Some weak points, a little bit of dragging in certain areas but all in all fantastic. A nice wrap up. I'm a huge fan of your work, definitely will always read your writings. |
