I really enjoy this. You captured Dean's voice and his frustration. His need to tell someone...and while there is no one alive, of all his dead family and friends, he chooses his father. Why, because he thinks he can help but also because he think the man should have told him more...about sammy, adam. angels, the campbells...but he does love him and looks up to him. Still wants to please him. I get this all from your writing. Unique idea with lots of feeling. Keep going!

I just saw this review now, so I apologize for being so late to answer (RL has been a beast lately!)  I'm so glad you enjoyed this.  I think Dean really needs someone to talk to, especially with some of the things he can't talk to Sam about, and he never had anyone else to turn to except his dad.  And he still has a lot he wants his dad to know--his worry, frustration, anger and pride over everything that's happened in the past few years.
